If you like the Erthian serie then you should see Angel Sanctuary. In Angel sanctuary the main chacarters trying to figure out who he is and in Erthian one of the main charecter (black wings) trying to figure out if he is good or evil. both series are trying to help mankind. In both series you will see alot of butiful wings and alt of emotions. In erthian they are two guys that are inlove and live together while in Angel sanctuary it's a brother and a sisster that falls inlove.
Forbidden love? Angel Sanctuary and Earthian fit the bill. Though, Earthian is a lot stronger based in the world being destroyed type situations, rather than one man and his love he can't have. Similar angel themes as well, with very coinciding emotions.
Earthian and Angel Sanctuary share the same general premise: angelic creatures set on earth engaged in a battle of cosmic proportions. More, both series have said supernatural entities acknowledging human emotions especially forbidden romantic relationships: in Earthian between two males and in Angel Sanctuary between siblings.
Murao Mima has created a robot daughter named Key, but after raising her for a very short time, Mima dies, leaving behind cryptic messages telling Key how she can become human. Key must struggle alone to learn the harsh lessons of life and search for the 'key' to her own dream: the power of 30,000 friends to make her a real human girl.
It's fairly creepy how similar Key and Earthian actually are. It wouldn't be easy to explain why without spoiling parts of both series, so lets just say that plot-wise, they match quite well. Both are quite dark once you get down to it, though might be overlooked for the older animation style.
There is a legend of an angel who fell to Earth many years ago, and was forced to marry a man because he held the key to her only way home. Hundreds of years later, sixteen year old Mikage Aya is the reincarnation of Ceres, the vengeful angel, who must now fight for her life against her family and her own twin brother Aki, the reincarnation of her past evil husband...
Earthian and Ayashi no Ceres both have surprisingly similar feels about love, tragedy, and fate, each conveniently dealing with angels. But besides that, I just got the same kind of feeling watching both. Earthian definitely isn't as romance heavy.
During a much needed vacation in England, American cops Dee Laytner and Randy McClane find out that danger has found them yet again. Their hotel, it seems, is under investigation for a series of murders which cannot be solved, perplexing local authorities and visitors alike. Now, Dee's clever plans to take Randy's virginity must be stalled in lieu of the investigation, since hesitation might cost both of them their lives!
This is another bishounen anime. Fake doesn't deal with any angels though ;P . This time the story deals with two male polices going on a trip togehter. Fake got abit more romance than Earthian and is more a yaoi anime than Earthian, but I still think you should check it out.
Remnants of a past life on the moon swirl in Alice's dreams after she overhears two of her classmates talking about mutual dreams they are having. Banding together, they set out in search of others who share these dreams, and for answers. All the while the pressing question is, do these memories of a past life determine the course of the present?
This might be an odd pairing, but I think if you were to watch both, you'd see why I just got the feeling that these two would be a good match. They don't match up in terms of plot, or even animation style/pacing, but I still think if you liked one, you'd like the other, for perhaps the tragic "watching over earth" feel.
