Was it the computer-animated effects? Was it the hardcore fights? Or maybe it was the adventurous feeling the anime had? Whatever the reason, FF VII: AC and DB: Path to Power both have all these aspects. Don't be scared of getting called a fanboy. The DB movie is a much shorter and better retelling of the DB series, the FF VII movie has the usual cool characters supported by the usual ground-breaking animation. They are both worth seeing!

InuYasha and DB: Path to Power have quite a few things in common: nice fights, an adventure to get stronger, a story that is cut into several parts, and of course a very strong male lead. InuYasha adds some romance and comedy, but that doesn't make it less appealing to DB fans. These two anime will definitely be liked by the same fans.

There are plenty of anime where a character with great powers fights his way through a load of villains while becoming stronger. Yet there aren't plenty that add such a relaxed, fun and adventurous feeling to it. Both One Piece and the 4th DB movie are pure enjoyment aimed at the same fans.

Both of these titles deal a lot with traveling to strange lands and meeting a variety of different people. Kino travels a lot for the sake of traveling; and while Dragon Ball has more action, in this movie there is an emphasis on dragon ball hunting, and to do this Goku travels just like Kino.
