For Niwa Daisuke, turning 14 should be accompanied by romance and the promise of new adventures into adulthood, but instead comes with a surprising revelation: all male children of the Niwa's bloodline inherit the powers (alter ego) of Dark, a phantom thief, upon their 14th birthday! Now, in addition to his ever-present quest to win the heart of his childhood friend Risa, Daisuke must commit acts of thievery (with his doppelganger Dark controlling his body), to steal mysterious pieces of art for unknown purposes. For Daisuke, his growing pains are just beginning!
In the Middle Ages, a woman named Jeanne D'Arc claimed to hear God's voice. She led a lonely life and was burned at the stake, despite being the voice to lead France to victory in the Hundred Years War. In today's world, she is reincarnated as Maron Kusakabe, a girl whose mission is to prevent demons from stealing people's hearts. To do this, she must steal any artifact that they possess. Her best friend, Miyako, is a detective looking for the thief, without a clue that she's right under her nose. Will Maron be able to save the world from destruction, or will she be caught red-handed by her friend?
Both anime are about kaitou thieves who steal art pieces, and both are also romance-based. Both anime can make you feel the same mysterious feelings, and they also have similar endings (happy endings).
Both D.N.Angel and Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne are henshin anime where the main plot revolves around stealing historical artifacts. There is a surrounding romantic aspect too that interferes with their role as thieves. Lastly, I felt that the plot and character "twists" were similar, leading to a good conclusion.
Both DNAngel and Jeanne are very alike. They both have phantom thieves and romance. If you're looking for a good romantic/action anime both will please you. In both anime, the main characters are phantom thieves that send out messages before they steal a masterpiece. Anyways, you will enjoy either anime.
D.N.Angel is one of my favorite anime; with romance and action, it's one of the best anime ever. If you liked the fights and the troublesome love actions in it, you will surely love Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne. It has the same sort of story and love problems. So if you have watched D.N.Angel and want something else to watch, watch Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne.
Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne and D.N.Angel are both very similar. Both shows involve a thief who sends out notice cards before stealing an item. The thief also hides his/her identity, which causes multiple complications to arise. Both shows also include a good amount of romance. Although the romance is used and presented differently in both shows, love is a key element that is needed to continue the plot. If you've enjoyed one, you'll definitely enjoy watching the other.
Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne is also about thiefs and demons closed in expensive things. In this two anime is romantic plot too.
Both anime series have kick butt action dealing with the protagonist changing form to a character of the past. From dealing with their love life, to having to help save people, to having to steal to change back, if you love one, then you will love thins one too!
Both Series are about thiefs who steal things to help others while trying to live as normal teenager . And step by step they fall in love with someone they wouldn't have thought of.
The series are very similiar , so I think you'd really like this one too !
Both anime are about thiefs who steal art work to save their owners. They both have to hide their celebrity secret selves from their classmates and crushes.
Each of the two anime have, firstly, gorgeous bishies. Secondly, both involve stealing for porpose, thirdly, both are utterly dramatic, and lastly: WHO DOESN"T LOVE THESE SORTS OF THEMES? Kamikaze is my preferred, but I definetly say if you loved one, DON'T go without the other
D.N.Angel and Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne are in many ways alike. It might not seen that way but it's true. I would recommend for you readers that like comedy, theifs, romance to watch both of these animes.
The only difference is that in Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne is that the main characters is a girl, and in DN Angel the main character is a boy. They both morph and kill demons. And the police is chasing both.
Both of these have the theif concept where they both claim that they will still something and then come to get it. They may be a bit different but in a way similar.
Both DN Angel and Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne are based on thieves who steal art. They both have a love story behing it also. If you loved this anime than I think you will love the other one too. Recommend it any way!
Kagome is a normal high school girl who falls into a well, transporting her back in time to the feudal era. Upon her arrival to this world, she mercifully unleashes Inuyasha, a half demon. As if this isn't enough, she also discovers that she is the bearer of the Shikon no Tama, a jewel of great spiritual power, a jewel which has just shattered into a million shards. Now, along with Miroku the priest, Sango the demon hunter, and Shippou the mischievious fox-demon, they must set out to find the Shikon shards and defeat the evils of the demon Naraku.
The mood and feel of DNAngel and InuYasha are the same. I also think that the characters are somewhat alike. Both anime use magic so that might be another reason why you should watch one if you liked the other.
The intense battle under taken by each of the characters in Inuyasha and D.N Angel are fun and exciting. The male protagonists are similar to in their humor and willingness to overcome all obstacles to reach their goals. The magical aspects in each bring life to the series.
I guess the animes are simular because of all the fights and missions. ALso you gotta love the animation styles! And the romance, comedy, action!
Both of the protagonists have two sides to them, light and dark, and fight against a maniac whose goal seems to destroy the world. Their missions revolve around stopping something that has become an object of power. Comedy and romance intermingle with the plotline in both anime, as well.
Awayuki Himeno is a normal schoolgirl who is in a bind: her father’s remarriage yielded two new cruel stepsisters, and to top it off, she meets seven men who call themselves Liefe Knights. They reveal to her that she's a Pretear, someone who can lend powers to them when their powers aren’t enough to defeat the evil creatures called mayouchuu. Now, she has to fight the ambitious Fenrir, whose only purpose is to leech the life force from all living beings. Can Himeno save the world and find a way to deal with her growing feelings for one of the Liefe Knights?
Both Pretear and DNAngel would interest those who enjoy a good fantasy anime that is short, sweet, and to the point. If you enjoy good looking men (such as the mysterious phantom thief Dark and the leaf knight with a tragic past known as Hyate), and made up historical elements, these are a good fit. Both anime have good character designs, good character development, beautiful art, and exhilarating stories.
Fairytales? Check. Bishounen? Check. A mix of comedy and angst? Check. Both of these anime are entertaining shoujo fantasies with lots of romance, drama and high school comedy. While I feel that both could have better character development (particularly Pretear, which tries to focus on 9 different main characters in 14 episodes) both are very entertaining series with a lot of heart to them. Perfect for the girly girl inside of you!
Both Pretear and D.N Angel are about love being able to conquer and overcome all else. The characterization in each series is reminiscent of each other, especially in regards to some hot looking male figures! In each series mysterious events unfold that change a normal persons life into something absolutely extraordinary and overtake them in a world filled with fantasy.
Both are animes about discovering first love, and how to deal with those feelings. The main characters discover they have a hidden power they can use to better their world, but it comes at a cost to their personal lives. Both are about the power of light and dark and the human heart (and both are fittingly sappy to match).
Both are short anime with lot of magic in it. The style is similair. And when you finished the anime wish that there were more epidodes. When you start with the anime you won't stop watchin untilyou have seen them all. Both storylines are great. You should have seen both anime.
Eleven-year-old Chizuko Mikamo is a victim; she is aware that her cruel relatives have been slowly poisoning her, but she can't do anything to escape her fate except starve herself. Luckily for her, the infamous thief, Twenty Faces, has arrived to steal her household's most valuable treasure: Chizuko herself. Alongside Twenty Faces, Ken, Skipper and the rest of the gang, Chizuko travels to exotic lands and strange places in search of valuable treasure. But, as she soon discovers, there's much more to the mysterious Twenty Faces than she could ever have bargained for...
Though slightly different in mood, both D.N.Angel and Chiko deal with the legend of the Man of 20 faces. D.N.Angel is more sweet while Chiko is a bit darker, but if you like the legend, both feature the theif that gives notice and never kills, and they treat the tale with a very cool individual twist.
Thieves are not all bad as both the Daughter of Twenty Faces and D.N. Angel series show viewers. While the Daughter of Twenty Faces series has a more realistic aspects to it as DN Angel is more on a supernatural level both share the same types of themes.
Stories of legendary phantom thieves.
Twenty Faces is a more realistic coming of age tale but still has strong sci-fi elements towards the end, without feeling silly.
DNAngel is more of a typical romance story behind it's angels and thievery.
A fan of one should definitely check out the other.
My first thought when I started Twenty Faces was that they stole the phantom thief plot from D.N. Angel. *grin* Both series have an entirely different approach: D.N. Angel tends to be more light hearted and has a romance storyline while Twenty Faces is a bit darker in tone and more serious. But both are a good foil for the other to play off of. If you like the notorious phantom thief character, you should check out both of these anime to get different views of the same basic character!
Gonzo does it again with this action-packed mecha comedy. She's an ordinary high school girl. He's a counterterror agent assigned to protect her from those who would steal the information locked in her mind. OK, so she's not so normal after all. Armored Slave battles and lovers' spats abound as Sousuke and his comrades try to track down the mysterious Gauln before it's too late.
Both DNAngel and Full Metal Panic involve characters who are about the same age. The mood and feel of these anime are also the same. Some of the characters are also somewhat alike.
Both FMP and DNAngel mix humor, romance and action (and a lot more) together in a way that keeps you interested, without having to watch too much of one thing.
The male protagonists in D.N Angel and Full Metal Panic have a similar personality, being extraordinarily different from the people around them while still trying to live a normal life and fit in. The action is what keeps both of these stories going while mixing some romance in too.
