This powerful substance can be used as an anti-akuma weapon, and ultimately can help destroy the evil Millenium Earl. Allen Walker is a young Exorcist who has the ability to tell who is human and who is an akuma with the help of his cursed eye. Together with the Black Order, Allen must find all 109 pieces of innocence to protect the world and defeat Earl.
Kagura and Yomi are two girls who have a bond that cannot be broken. Over time, the two battle malicious spirits and grow closer together – but soon, more terrifying foes begin to reveal themselves. A swarm of glowing blue butterflies and a mysterious stone are harbingers of darker things to come, and one thing’s for sure: Kagura and Yomi will never be the same.
after somewhat not-so-good D.Gray-man ending you might think about what will happen next, will allen find a way to defeat Earl? When you will be watching Ga-Rei -Zero- you will think - hey, thats allen! :D
and now for real ^^ :both animes plot is about people fighting evil souls/monsters/akumas which want extermination of people kind, those groups use weapons made especially for that prupose - fighting evil. And they fight with them - either because they want to, like to or have no other choice of lifethe main character in both animes is an orphan, given refuge and love by second father - found a person who he love ( love as in father-son or sister-sister ). but time will show that there is something else too. and that 'else' is not that good
Ga-Rei Zero and D.Gray-Man, both have:
- a focus on action, fighting,
- an hunting demon organization;
- good animation.
Naruto Uzumaki is a young ninja who bears a great power hidden inside him, a power that has isolated him from the rest of his village. As such, his only dream is to become the Hokage - the most powerful ninja, and leader of the village; but first he needs to graduate! With his inability to perform even the most basic ninja techniques, it seems that all Naruto has going for him is his determination to succeed no matter what. Teamed up with the genius Sasuke, book-smart Sakura, and their team leader Kakashi, Naruto embarks on his quest to become the Hokage. But with outside forces posing a threat to the entire Hidden Leaf village, Naruto discovers that he must become much stronger if he ever wants to realize his dream and protect the friendships he's forged.
Both Naruto and D.Gray-man centre on a young male protagonist, Uzumaki Naruto in Naruto and Allen Walker in D. Gray-Man, and follow their development in their respective worlds. Both Naruto and Allen have been alone and shunned from an early age - Naruto because of the Kyuubi sealed in him, and Allen due to the parasitic Innocence which causes his arm to look deformed. As a result both of these boys are very strong-willed and independent. Both series follow how these boys grow and learn to accept others into their worlds. Friendship is a key theme in both series.
Both are about a guy who gains a mystic power, they team up with other with skills to help reach their goals. Both animes ar action packed with parts of comedy too.
Long ago the infamous Gol D. Roger was the strongest and most powerful pirate on the seas. As he was about to be executed he revealed that he hid all of his wealth, including the legendary treasure known as One Piece, on an island at the end of the Grand Line - a treacherous and truly unpredictable sea. Monkey D. Luffy is a spirited, energetic and somewhat dim-witted young man with a very big dream: to find One Piece and become the Pirate King! However Luffy is no ordinary boy, as when he was younger he ate one of the Devil's Fruits and gained its power to become a Rubber Man. Now in this grand age of pirates Luffy sets out to gather a crew and sail to the most dangerous sea in the world so that he can fulfill his dream... and maybe even his appetite!
Both are about a guy who gains a mystic power, they team up with other with skills to help reach their goals. Both animes ar action packed with parts of comedy too.
Both anime have a balance of action and comedy. Luffy and Allen Walker are very similar in their philosophy on life. When either Luffy or Allen's friends are in danger, they will stop at nothing to protect them, despite the dangers that could befall them. Both work their hardest to become men they could be proud of, be that the Pirate King or a saviour of akuma souls.
Despite differences in art and story line, they both have the same 'feel.'
On the eve of nobleman Oz Bezarius's fifteenth birthday, he and his loved ones gather to celebrate in a coming-of-age ceremony. But after Oz steps under a long-stopped clock and the hands finally move once more - thus fulfilling a mysterious prophecy - he is violently thrown into the legendary prison known as the Abyss by three cloaked intruders. Existing in another dimension, the Abyss is home to lifeforms born within its walls known as Chains; these beings can only live in the real world if they make contracts with humans, binding their power to the person's body. However, there's a catch - in time, the human will be overcome by the Chain's power and then thrown into the deepest level of the Abyss. When Oz wakes up in the Abyss he is quickly attacked by hungry Chains, only to be saved by one named Alice - a Chain who appeared just before he was thrown into the prison. Together, the two make a contract and return to the real world, where they are enlisted into the Pandora organization - a group researching both the Abyss and the trio that threw Oz into it. Along with members of Pandora, the duo searches to find Alice's lost memory fragments that are scattered throughout the world, to discover the secrets of the Abyss, and to determine if there's a way their contract can be broken without killing either Oz or Alice.
D.Gray-Man and Pandora Hearts invoke the exact same kind of atmosphere of twisted childhood themes warped with plenty of fantasy and action. In both the premise is almost identical: people on the brink of despair seal deals with supernatural creatures that are supposed to help but that turn out to destroy those who summon them. More, the main characters are involved in the conflict via personal issues and with the help of a vaguely religious-like organization. The band of friends that gather around the hero is another common feature of these better than average shonen titles.
When I first started watching Pandora Hearts, D.Gray-man came to mind. Both of these animes are about fighting supernatural creatures from the abyss and have a really dark atmosphere that might creep out some of you. The twisted "childish"-like art is just scary sometimes. In both Pandora Hearts and D.Gray-man the main protagonists are involved with what appears to be a religious-like organizations, in D.Gray its the Black Orden and in Pandora Hearts its the Pandora, which helps the main characters along the way, but also have their own selfish goals. Both Allen and Oz have a supernatural powers, which they improve throught the episodes to protect their closest ones and find their own path.
After witnessing a rare summer snow with his friends, Kusaka Yuu begins to develop supernatural abilities. Years afterwards, he finds himself the target of powerful beings, and learns that his powers are due to the "ayakashi," parasitic organisms that grant special abilities in exchange for a portion of the host's life force. The conflict turns treacherous as Yuu’s friends’ lives also become threatened, and he learns the truth behind the loss of his dear friend, Izumi. Will Yuu free himself from the ayakashi, or will he succumb to the temptation of power?
Both series are about people with special abilities which are a part of their body. They both use them to fight the bad guys and try to change the world for better.
