Ouran High is a school for the extremely wealthy or, in Haruhi's case, the extremely talented. But no amount of talent will help when Haruhi accidentally drops an eight million yen vase in a music room. The vase was the property of Ouran High School Host Club, a group of attractive young men who, for a fee, provide their time and affections for their lovesick clientele: the female students. Fascinated by this strange new specimen, a poor and clumsy commoner, they force Haruhi to work for them until the debt is repaid; but they get a lot more than they bargained for...
thy're both really fun romantic comidies if you enjoyed one im sure ill enjoy the other.the chartcers are at times really wacky and the main charticers of these two shows are alot alike.
Both main characters are great, but what I liked more about both animes is the rivalry between the boys and the rivalry between the DearS. It is very funny and entertaining. It has a sad backround for the characters which I also like because it gives the more depth.
Minato Sahashi was living a normal life; he had just failed his college entrance exam for a second year in a row, and lived a quiet life in a single's apartment. That is, until the busty Musubi fell from the sky on top of him! She is a Sekirei, one of 108 that are destined to fight each other until only one remains; and he or she will ascend to heaven with his or her chosen one known as an Ashikabi. Minato soon finds himself in the embrace of Musubi, becoming her Ashibaki - but his life will only become more complicated. Musubi isn't the last to claim Minato as her Ashibaki, and what's worse, plenty of other Sekirei and opponents stand in his way!
You sadly walk over the street. Suddenly you see a girl needing some help. Such you give as anyone politely should, and then that super sexy girl makes herself your slave with special powers. Another one appears, as do jealousy, fight but also love.
That's a description for both DearS and Sekirei. You liked that ecchi comedy with sudden girlfriend appearance? Then you'd like the other one too.
Normal lonely guy going about his business in a world that has recently had an alien ship that crash landed on earth filled with about 100 beautiful alien women. The guy seems to have no interest or knowledge of what's going on, until he accidentally meets one who soon becomes a big part of his life.
Like Betelgeuse said, this is the basic plot for both series.
Although seeing how this came out 4 years before Sekirei I'm not sure if I'd call it a copy/rip-off or an improvement (since I personally like Sekirei more)
You be the judge but if you liked one, you'll definitely want to watch the other
Morisato Keiichi has always had bad luck. No matter what he does or how he acts, nothing seems to go his way. His bike frequently breaks down, his classmates take advantage of him, women ignore and scorn him, and on top of all that, he’s only 5'3". In Heaven, when someone’s bad luck and good luck are so heavily out of balance, Belldandy (Goddess First Class, Second Category, Unlimited) of the Goddess Assistance Agency comes to the rescue. Belldandy grants Keiichi one wish to make up for all of his bad luck, but when Keiichi wishes for Belldandy to stay by his side forever... the trouble begins. Can Keiichi keep Belldandy by his side, or will outside elements force her to return to heaven?
same ecchi style of comedy. female lead characaters that are weak willed and have a male to "show them a ropes" if you will. oh and of course all this is an accident. strange person in a new world complex is there too. they also have a real feel of "emotional insecurity" but also "male dominate" almost in a spiteful way. if that's you then add these to your want to watch list or favorites.
One day, while testing out his new video camera on a bridge in town, Kaito Kirishima sees a bright blue light in the sky and is inexplicably knocked over the side, awakening the next morning in bed with no memory of the event. Kaito’s friends, noticing his interest in the girl, all resolve to make a movie this summer and cast her as the lead, to which she immediately approves. Now, the group embarks on what will be a truly memorable summer that no one will forget, as Kaito and Ichika slowly, and clumsily, begin to fall in love.
Makoto Niwa has just moved from his rural hometown to live with his aunt and experience high school life in the big city first hand. Unfortunately, his dreams of an adolescence filled of dates and school activities are soon shattered by having to share his new home with Erio, his deluded cousin who thinks she's an alien and spends most of her time wrapped in a futon for protection! Now, in addition to enduring his aunt’s energetic attention and flirting awkwardly with the girls in his class, Makoto finds himself drawn into helping Erio rejoin regular society and stopping her 'alien' antics.
There is a lot of outer space involvement in DearS and Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko. Both of these animes boast an alien-esque plotline and revolve around a sweet, slightly off, main girl as the appealing character.
