On a day that seemed ordinary, a spaceship crash landed in Tokyo bay, filled to the brim with beautiful aliens that would come to be known as DearS. Since that day, though all of Japan seems to have gone DearS-crazy, one high school boy named Takeya it still not impressed by the phenomenon. But things change for Takeya when he finds a lone DearS girl on the side of the road, who forces herself into his apartment, and his life! Now, he must brave a plethora of complications, misunderstandings, and embarassments, when all he wants to do is be left alone!
Kaede is a devoted high school student who lives with her adopted brother Rin. She holds a quiet confidence that one day, when Rin finally starts showing interest in sex, he will make the obvious choice and turn to his loving sister. But what Kaede wasn’t counting on was the lords of heaven and hell coming to Earth, wanting Rin to mate with their nubile daughters! Rin, like any teenager would, takes full advantage of his newly acquired harem; but how long can he keep up his carefree, boxed-lunches-on-the-rooftop lifestyle, as the horde of girls on his tail grows?
In both of these animes women come out of nowhere and become part of the male protagonists life. throughout the entirety of each of these animes the man changes to fing the person that he truly cares for. From the beggining bother are confuses and dont really know what to do.
Both these series have the harem thing going for them, and both are all about love and laughs. If you enjoyed one, look up the other.
Both Anime have a similar story. Suddenly girls appear and start to mix up their everyday life. Love is also playing a role.
The sense of humor in both animes is also quite aline.
So if you liked Dear, you sure like Shuffle! too.
Kakeru Daichi is an openly perverted sixteen-year-old boy who has never had a girlfriend. One night, after a refreshing shower, the boy decides to have a drink and opens up a can of melon soda; but his first sip turns into his first kiss as the can suddenly transforms into a cute girl! After his initial hesitance to acknowledge her existence, Kakeru - as her new owner - names the girl Melon and allows her to stay. Melon, as it turns out, is part of a government project in which aluminium and steel 'Akikans' fight each other to determine which is the superior type of can. Completely against the idea, Kakeru insists that Melon will not fight. Though with the appearance of Budoko, a grape juice Akikan; and Yell, a sports-drink Akikan; it seems that they won’t be able to avoid the battles forever.
Both anime have their girls, who, having very special origins, end up in the house of a young guy, claiming that they are guys' own from the moment they have kissed them, and from that moment on, they have to fight for their master, with who they eventually will build up a close relationship.
In both shows the MC randomly 'finds' a girl and takes her home both MC's are called master and they teach the girl they find how to live in society. Both girls have special powers and both shows have tons of ecchi if you liked one you'll probably like the other as well.
For Kouta and Yuka, finding the bloody naked young girl on the beach would change their lives forever, for better or for worse. Unable to speak or function as a normal human being, she is named Nyu by the duo, and taken into their home in an effort to save her. But what neither teenager knows is that this innocent young girl is actually a killing machine -- an experiment gone terribly wrong -- and it is only a matter of time before the murderer in her awakens again...
Dears and Elfen Lied have rather diferent stories, and dears does not feature any gore unlike elfen lied, but the main characters are very similar, and their behavior reminds of each other. the local story is pretty much the same though : a boy that ends up taking a dears/personcon home and has to take care of it, with all the trouble he has to go through to educate it. The main male characters are diferent though, wich is probably the reason why the stories take a diferent turn at some point. either way, the ending also are rather similar, and if you liked the dramatic and romantic aspects of one, the other will fit to your taste too.
DearS and Elfen Lied are very similar in the usage of different races coming to Earth to overtake humanity. (In Elfen Lied's case, this race was born from the humans themseves; in DearS case they came from outerspace). They both feature a "special" main girl who has a side to her that is ditzy, sweet and naiive and offer gratuitous fanservice. They both question the natural inclination to assume that humans are the superior race and offer a moral to their story while coating it between moments of fanservice and humor.
Deep in the mountains, isolated from civilization, there is a boys-only school that will finally be receiving its first class of girls in an attempt to transform the school into a co-ed one. Most of the boys have never been in contact with girls of their own age, leading to an explosion of hormonal craziness. From the sickeningly perverted fetishist guys, to a rather odd girl that seems to be chasing the most normal guy in the school for reasons known only to her, there's twisted humor to be had.
I had similar emotions when watching DearS and Green Green, though in general DearS is the best ecchi anime I've seen. =)
In both anime a girl suddenly appear in front of a boy, who at first is not pleased with it, but after some time they change their mind. If you liked one of those, you'll like other as well.
Manaka Junpei is an average guy who has only two dreams in life: to become a filmmaker and to find the girl of his dreams. Luckily for him, after a chance encounter on the roof of the school, he has a lead on the girl! She was wearing strawberry panties. Unfortunately, he can't figure out which one of the five girls chasing him it was; but he gets plenty of chances to find out the color-of-the-day in his Cinderella search for his one true love!
If you enjoy midless ecchi with very little plot and characters that are either mindless bimbos or feckless males, then both of these shows will definitely appeal to you. Personally speaking, I found both of these shows to be amazingly dull and lacking in humour. However, I know some people enjoy them, so why not give the other a whirl?
A good amount of ecchi, a group of girls, and the a male lead who gets all the girls all traits that accurately describes both series. Both series are your typical harems that don't bring anything new to the table but do okay in what they do have. If you enjoyed one of these series then you'll probably enjoy the other.
