Synopsis:

In the future, the world as we know it is inhabited by humans and Darkstalkers -- beings of the night who descended upon the planet and stole away the light of the sun. Discrimination is at an all time high, fueled by the tendencies of some Darkstalkers to prey upon the humans for their own desires. However, amongst the dark there are those who fight for good, such as the hybrid Donovan and two sisters who are out for revenge. With the coming of the ultimate demon Pyron, the humans and Darkstalkers must band together one last time to save the planet from his wrath...

Hellsing

Hellsing

In present day England, a war is being fought. The average citizen does not notice, but vampires are running rampant among the populace, and it's up to the Hellsing organization to contain the bloodsucker threat, using even their own weapons against them. Alucard, a vampire himself, is the best agent the organization has to offer, answering only to Integra Hellsing herself. No one knows much about this mysterious figure fighting against the occult, but things starts to change after he “recruits” a new agent to the establishment...

Hellsing has a same type of dark atmosphere that Darkstalker's has. Also Hellsing has quite a few show downs.

A good anime about Vampires deserves another good franchise based on a dark setting with vampires in it. Both have a similar mood, despite Darkstalkers' slightly more epic scope and over the top action, as opposed to Hellsing's darker nature and more character driven plot.
sothis
Though different in premise, both Hellsing and Darkstalkers have a very fun and moody feel to them, that will remind you of a comic-based action movie of sorts. With plenty of fun (yet badass) villains, great graphics and overall a high sense of entertainment, either of these aim to please. If you enjoyed one, odds are you'd enjoy the other.

Shamanic Princess

Shamanic Princess

In the Guardian World, there live magic users and Neutralizers whose goal is to protect the Throne of Yord -- the source of their power. When the Throne is stolen from its place of rest, it’s up to Tiara and her furry familiar Japolo to find it… but things aren’t always as they seem. Beneath the façade of a simple painting lies the true identity of the Throne of Yord, and beneath the pretense of a simple theft lies the real reason it was stolen… a reason that may end up costing Tiara and her friends their very lives!

Both of these shows are extremely visual. You'll see a lot cool powers and neat fights. Darkstalkers suffers from a lack of plot, while Shamanic Princess is a bit too pretentious in the plot department so both of these shows will bore you a bit when they get to talking, but you'll wake up in a hurry when things get moving.
sothis
With the exception of the last two episodes of Shamanic Princess, both Darkstalkers and Shamanic Princess will really, really remind you of each other. Is it the combination of fighting and discussions, with beautiful backdrops? Is it the fantasy feel? Who knows, I just knew from the start that if you liked one of these, you'd like the other.

Those who enjoyed Darkstalkers but are looking for something a bit more dark and a little less campy should devour Blood: The Last Vampire, a super-stylish look at a modern vampire myth.

Fist of the North Star

Fist of the North Star

A world where even close friends can betray you for power, a lesson that Ken, the Fist of The North Star, learns when he is nearly killed by his closest friend and left for dead. Darkstalkers, based upon the fighting game of the same name, is mostly about action. Fist of the North Star is --all-- about action. As the name implies, fists will fly -- might want to watch out for the occasional exploding head, though.

What Shadow Skill TV and Darkstalkers thrive on is action, hands down. Combine this with character development and an overall entertaining (and somewhat campy) feel, and you have a good recommendation pair. Try it out.
