Silly, sensless and short, three great things about both of these shows.

Although they are just a fun bit of fluff, Haruhi-chan and Useless Animals are a great way to waste a few minutes a day and not have to keep up with a complex storyline. I think fans of one show will love the frivolity of the other :)

OK, so at first glance this may seem like an odd recommendation; one series focuses on useful construction bunnies, the other is literally entitled 'Useless Animals'. However, both of these series are light-hearted and motivational series. Zenryoku focuses more on building up confidence and completing a job to the best of your (possibly limited) ability, whereas Damekko Doubutsu looks at finding your rightful place in the world - even if you are a bit useless. If you liked the upbeat and cute aspect of one of these series then you may well enjoy the other.

Akazukin Chacha

Akazukin Chacha

Red Riding Hood Chacha is an aspiring young mage who can't seem to get her spells right, commonly performing blunders like summoning a bouquet of noses instead of roses. But when her famous master and magician Seravi decides to send her to Magic School, things couldn't be better. Along with were-puppy Riiya, love-struck Shiine, Black Riding Hood Yakko-chan and other new friends, Chacha must survive both the evil forces which threaten the land and sadistic (yet still somehow caring) teachers alike!

Akazukin Chacha and Damekko Doubutsu both make jokes about incompetence and cluelessness, and both have a cast of cute young fantasy beings.  They also both are about making friends, with a minor theme of secret/unrequited love.

In both Animes the charectors are all Animals who can speak. Cute charectors and animation style. As in Useless animals, the animals are all misfits... and totaly unlike their own species. And in Arashi No Yori Ni, a forbidden relationship causes problems for all animal species.

Both animes include charectors who are 'animals'. the charectors fight one another and have someone they all respect. Also the comedy in both animes is just awesome!
