Synopsis:

On an island where cherry blossoms bloom all year-round, love seems to always be in the air. It is in this magical atmosphere that Asakura Junnichi lives, and when he dreams he travels to the dreams of others, rather than have any of his own. In everyday high-school life, he is accompanied by his adopted sister, Nemu, and an eclectic group of friends including a j-pop idol-in-the-making and a girl they knew from their childhood. Promises, and magic, and love -- Junnichi seems to dream about every girl he knows, but which girl dreams of him...?

Angel Sanctuary

Angel Sanctuary

Setsuno Muda is a high school boy with a cruel fate, trapped in a forbidden love for his blood sister and inhabited by the spirit of the Organic Angel Alexiel. As the final battle between Heaven and Hell approaches, and forces gather against him, he must soon make decisions that will inevitably alter his future for better or worse. But for poor young Setsuno, his anguish and torment might be more overwhelming than the blood on his hands, as conflicts are settled and lives are changed forever...

Both of these animes deal with an issue which the society does not tolerate. Sibling love. Not sisterly or brotherly love but a love between a man and a woman. You get to see how these characters deal with this forbidden love and eventually accept it instead of running away from the feeling and that feeling eventually leads to incest. But incest is not the big issue that these two animes deal with but rather how they deal with the feeling of love towards their brother/sister (even though they themselves believe it is wrong to have these feelings). I would also like to point out that incest in only implied and there's nothing explicit. One thing to note is that angel sanctuary is only a 3 part ova so it deals with the issue rather early on while Da Capo is 26 eps so it doesn't really deal with the issue till later. So if this sounds intriguing, I suggest you give it a try.

Baby Love

Baby Love

When Seara was a young girl, she pledged her love to the older Shuhei Seto. In a whimsical tone, Shuhei promised he'd wait for her to grow up to be a beautiful woman, and would then give her love a chance. Now, four years later and through a twist of fate, sixteen year old Seara is living with Shuhei, his sister Koharu, and their parents, though Seara's identity is unknown and unremembered by her longtime love. With steep competition for his heart as well as a lacking chest size, Seara must do everything in her power to win the heart of the man she loves!

Seara and Sakura, the main characters in Da Capo and Baby Love, can not wait to grow up so that they can have the love of the one who promised it to them. In Seara's case her love comes through with the realization that she is now grown up. With Sakura, however, her love may have found his own path to take.

Clannad

Clannad

Tomoya Okazaki is a third-year high school student who is generally bored with life and doesn't take his studies, future, or anything else seriously. One day, however, he meets a lonely-looking girl in the school courtyard, Nagisa Furukawa. She explains to him the source of her loneliness: she had missed a lot of the previous school year and thus is repeating her third year; everybody that she knew has already graduated, and she is lonely. Tomoya is rather indifferent at first, but decides that he has nothing better to do and spends increasingly more time helping Nagisa restore the school drama club. As his relationship with Nagisa grows, Tomoya begins to open up to various other people around the school as well...

in both stories there is only on main male character and many girls. Both start just as a normal high school romantic story but different unsual things star ti happen.

Also in both animes the couples are really innocent :)

Combustible Campus Guardress

Combustible Campus Guardress

30,000 years after a battle between good and evil, demons once again threaten our world; but now, the battlefield has changed. Japanese housewives attack with perfectly cooked noodles, middle-aged seductresses tempt both good and evil, and high school aged guardians must take exams that are more terrifying than any battle! This time, the dark lords strive for a different ending to the eternal battle, while the guardians hope to change the past as well. Is there any way to protect the world from evil without giving up their own lives?

The foremost problem for the main characters in Da Capo and Combustible Campus Guardress is that they were raised as siblings, are not related, and they feel attraction for one another. Both series have an interesting view of the characters' friends, and what they think about the hero and heroine's relationship.

H2O ~Footprints in the Sand~

However, Hirose soon discovers that one of his classmates, Hayami Kohinata, is being harshly bullied by her peers for reasons that neither she nor anyone else wants to explain. Even the seemingly honest and gentle Hinata Kagura, who had been doing her best to be friendly and helpful to Hirose since his arrival, acts harshly towards Hayami. Bramblestar

Though H2O is much darker at the start of the series, Da Capo becomes nearly as complicated. Both contain magical elements in addition to the romance/drama theme.
