Follow interstellar bounty hunters Spike Spiegel and Jet Black as they scour the galaxy for criminals with prices on their heads. Hoping to escape their past, they live on the spaceship Bebop, but it's a dangerous business and old enemies don't forget easily. Allies come from unlikely sources, however, as they find comrades in the beautiful swindler Faye Valentine, the genius child hacker Ed and the genetically engineered 'data dog' Ein. Will they be able to help each other though their respective struggles, or is their fate really inevitable?
Basically, Joe is a precurssor to Bebop in a lot of ways.
They are a team of bounty hunter/odd job people who do the work that a police force in space can not. And they do it for the money. Both titles have the groups, "Cowboy's in bebop, and "Crushers: in Crusher joe. they live aboard a large ship that is their home and mode of transport.
Basically both titles will fill that need for action and space.
Space Dandy is a space hunter, someone who is paid to search for new, undiscovered alien species. It's an industry where the prize goes to the person who finds aliens the fastest. Dandy searches unknown planets for strange beings with his companions, QT the worn-out robot and Meow from Betelgeuse. Meanwhile, they're being chased by minions of the Gogol Empire, for reasons that are still a mystery.
Space is the place, and action is on the pallet.
If your looking for some otherworldly adventure, and you enjoy ships and planets, you might enjoy one or both of these titiles. The cast more or less live on the ship they inhabit, and both have a robot on board who are tasked with jobs.
mind you, Crusher joe is a bit more serious than Dandy. but for space titles there is a lot in common.
