In times of olde, humans live in constant fear of demons known as yoma. These vicious creatures can take the appearance and memories of humans they have devoured, thus blending into society as they freely feast on human flesh. The key to stopping the yoma lies with the tolerated yet feared Claymores - women who are half-demon, half-human, and fully fated to become the demons that they hunt. Meanwhile, in a village, the young Raki has been banished; his only crime was losing his family to the yoma. Raki is drawn to a Claymore named Clare, and together their journey begins. While Clare fights the yoma plaguing the land, can Raki help her in her struggle to retain her humanity?

just wanted to throw this out there cause even thought the story in this sacred blacksmith is meeger by any standard, it is similar to claymore in the setting and the female lead battling as a knight to achieve her goals.

One night after being lured into a trap, a mysterious and handsome man named Zess saves Yuki from being killed before disappearing into the night. Then, with the sudden arrival of his long-lost brother, the orphan finds himself pulled into a new world where he can not only learn about his powers and how to control them, but also becomes aware of the evils that lurk in the darkness. Can Yuki finally find the place he truly belongs, and just why is Zess so protective over the young boy?
There is a boy to protect in uraboku, like in Claymore. Zess is a "demon" against humans although he is an ally among humans/Zweits like how Clare doesn't harm/eat Raki. There is fighting with large weapons in both anime.
Kamui has returned to Tokyo with a traumatizing past, but he is not the only one. Many people are returning to Tokyo for the same reason: they play a part in the End of the World. The Dragons of Earth and the Dragons of Heaven now must fight for the destruction or safety of the world. But is this troubled Kamui really the key to saving the world?
If you liked Claymore, you'd like X TV because it also has great fight scenes and a good story.
