It is the early 1920s, and New York City has a problem of evil proportions – demons. With devil worshipping on the rise, foul spirits and monsters have begun to surface, causing fear and panic in their wake. Combating this threat is the Magdalene Order – a group of religious officials charged with exorcising the evil that is spreading throughout the city. Rosette Christopher is a young nun who takes on missions alongside her contracted partner – a young demon named Chrono. Now it is up to this unlikely pair to wield God’s power – and plenty of holy bullets – to destroy the menace in front of them and confront the demons of their past.
Enter the world of devils! Laharl, the prince of the Netherworld, awakens after a two-year-long slumber to find the land thrown into chaos. His father, King Krichevskoy, has died and the land has no ruler. Laharl decides that he is the only one worthy to replace his father, so he sets out on a journey back to his castle to claim the throne before another rogue devil tries to take what is rightfully his. Aided by the unlikely and unfortunate Flonne the angel and the deceiving former assistant to the King, Etna, what kind of hardships, misadventures, and bizarre encounters will they inevitably run into along the way?
Demons and Angels working together is a mad concept but both of these great animes pull it off in there own unique ways. So if you like all that heaven and hell stuff these two quench the craving enjoy!!

Chrono Crusade and Elemental Gelade have in common the fact that the main characters fight in order to achieve peace on earth. In both animes they are helped by specialized organizations. Also, there is a story that develops between the characters , and the fact that the girl and the boy are different in both CC and EG gives strength to their relationship.
For Kouta and Yuka, finding the bloody naked young girl on the beach would change their lives forever, for better or for worse. Unable to speak or function as a normal human being, she is named Nyu by the duo, and taken into their home in an effort to save her. But what neither teenager knows is that this innocent young girl is actually a killing machine -- an experiment gone terribly wrong -- and it is only a matter of time before the murderer in her awakens again...
If you enjoyed watching Chrno Crusade, you'll definitely like Elfen Lied, because both animes deal with some prejudice and important issues.
Elfen Lied is a bit more obscure than Chrno Crusade, and misses the religion theme, adding violence and lack of censuring instead.
Though it may seem a little different, the most attentive watchers will realize that these two animes have much more in common than they seem to at first.
Edward Elric disobeyed the laws of conservation by committing a taboo in alchemy, and for that his body and soul are no longer a part of his world. If you liked Chrono Crusade you'd like the FMA movie because Edward and Rosette have very similar personalities; they both blow their top, or lose their temper, when certain things are mentioned.

Along with a team of other ghost hunters, they will uncover the mystery of a strange case coming their way, while Mai starts to discover her own abilities.
If you're into the thrills which Chrono Crusade initially gave in its initial epiodes, Ghost Hunt is definitely for you. It offers the same shrill as Chrono Crusade. The plot is similar in terms that they both deal with exorcism. However, Chrono has its own story depth, while Ghost Hunt is episodic in nature. Nevertheless, Ghost Hunt also explores creative Religious dealings, only, it is more focused on exorcisms and horror.
