Synopsis:

In a post-apocalyptic world overrun with great beasts called Filth Monsters, a glimmering dome protrudes from the wasteland. This is Zuellni, a mobile city unique for having a consciousness in the form of ‘electronic fairies’. Moreover, Zuellni is an academy where the next generation of powerful Heavens-Blade wielders gather to pit their strength against each other in inter-platoon competitions. Nina Antalk, military student and leader of the 17th Platoon, is intent on recruiting only the best; thus, when mysterious Layfon Alseif transfers to the academy, she instantly recognizes his abilities and decides he’s the perfect candidate to join her group. However, with a secret past that won’t leave him alone, and unknown powers beyond the academy taking an interest in Zuellni, Layfon joining the team is only the start of all their troubles.

Sekirei

Sekirei

Minato Sahashi was living a normal life; he had just failed his college entrance exam for a second year in a row, and lived a quiet life in a single's apartment. That is, until the busty Musubi fell from the sky on top of him! She is a Sekirei, one of 108 that are destined to fight each other until only one remains; and he or she will ascend to heaven with his or her chosen one known as an Ashikabi. Minato soon finds himself in the embrace of Musubi, becoming her Ashibaki - but his life will only become more complicated. Musubi isn't the last to claim Minato as her Ashibaki, and what's worse, plenty of other Sekirei and opponents stand in his way!

Anime that has some pretty good visual fight scenes and a harem of girls falling for the main guy

and both of them starts with a lot of mysterious characters early on which are pretty interesting to watch

except Sekirei has a lot of fanservice/ ecchi etc etc..

Gradually, Kuniko begins to question whether or not Atlas and its people are really cruel; only when she and her guardians infiltrate Atlas does Kuniko truly gain perspective. Why is the government so set on letting the lower city of Duomo live off of scraps, when the tower city of Atlas has more than enough room for everybody?

These anime introduces brand new views on fantasy world and its people.

Chrome Shelled Regios gives awesome effects and a nice story with some cute and funny crushes here and there.

Shangri-la gives off a nice story and how much real world tactics and fights can rock in an anime

The main characters for both of these series have the same characteristics.  The main male character is all powerful, and the main female works to be as strong as him.

MalteseFalcon

Chrome Shelled Regios and To Aru Kagaku no Railgun feel familiar. Part of it is the school setting, with students having special abilities. And of course, there is the girl who has worked hard to bring the level of the ability to wear it is now. And of course, there is plenty of fighting in both of them.

Regios is more action oriented, and the school setting a bit more militant, while Railgun is more relaxed and has more social interaction. However, I am sure if you enjoyed one, you would enjoy the other.
