Takumi is a reclusive otaku who wants nothing more than to be left alone to play online games and watch anime. He only attends the minimum necessary to pass his classes, and rarely leaves his cramped room except to purchase the newest figurines. One evening, while Takumi is chatting online with his friend "Grim," a stranger called "Shogun" joins the channel and, after "Grim" leaves, posts a series of disturbing photographs depicting a man impaled to a wall with metal stakes. The following day, Takumi is horrified when he wanders into an alley and once again sees Shogun’s images – but this time, the gruesome scene is reality. From then on, Takumi sees the world through a new set of eyes; imaginary delusions meld with reality, and he isn't sure who he can trust. With suspicions and confusion at every turn, Takumi must struggle to determine what's going on - but most importantly, whose eyes are those eyes?

Souma and his friends were typical high school students, and members of the student council; but things changed when a cat girl named Mao appeared in the school, looking for someone named Zero. Souma accidentally breaks Mao's mirror which causes her, Souma and his friends to be transported to her world. In this world, Souma and the other male humans from Earth can wield soulblades drawn from people's hearts. His friends landed in different parts of a war-torn world, so they have subsequently broken up into separate factions and each person is working towards winning the war. Honoka and Takumi are both unusual people and both choose to live practically in solitude. Honoka chooses to live in a tank with Bogie a machine with human like intellegence and Takumi lives with Seira a fictional character from Blood Tunes (his favourite show) who tries to deviate him from reality.

Yoku Wakaru Gendai Mahou

Yoku Wakaru Gendai Mahou

In today's technology-driven society, everything has to move with the times, and magic is no exception. As spells are cast with various magic "codes", made up of binary digits, a computer becomes just as useful to the aspiring mage as a magic wand. One such would-be wizard is Koyomi Morishita, a girl who suffers from a bizarre inability to cast more than one type of spell. No matter how hard she concentrates she can only use code to do one thing: summon metal wash basins, directly above people's heads more often than not! Hoping to improve her versatility, she becomes a student of voluptuous expert witch Misa Anehara. However, with malevolent "daemons" - monsters summoned by unscrupulous magic wielders - appearing at every turn, Koyomi will need all the help she can get!

Both shows try to be very interesting but tend to lack comunicating that to the viewer. While the animation in both are pretty good that's about all you will be left enjoying in both. Both anime have flat and typical characters that we've all seen before in other anime. Yoku Wakaru Gendai Mahou tries to be more ecchi but Chaos;Head has more perversion. If you for some reason liked one check out the other.
