Both Natsume Yuujinchou and Cencoroll feature quiet, almost lethargic, protagonists that make the supernatural even more exciting because of their laissez faire attitudes. However, both Tetsu and Natsume both are extremely close with their paranormal friends and go to great lengths to protect them. I guareentee if you love one then you'll love the other. I just wish Cencoroll was more than one episode. However, I patiently wait for the next. Natsume Yujinchou is currently on it's fourth season.
On a certain isolated island, at a certain middle school, on the eve of the culture festival, Shuuichi Azuma quits baseball after playing his whole life. He has a fight with his best friend Kenta Saijou. Then they suddenly meet a mysterious, red-eyed girl named Noruda, and a huge typhoon hits the middle school.
Both shows have the same air about them. Random things out of no where start to happen around the people in these shows and they must act not react. Both are quick watches and are gorgeous to look at. Both will probably leave you wanting more too. Check em out!
