Candy Candy Call of Spring is only essentially a summary of the events that have taken place through most of the TV series, but regardless, the same recommendations I had for the TV series would apply. If you liked the touching elements of Candy's life as an orphan, you'd like the similar elements of Emily of New Moon as well - though Emily's circumstances are different and the animation style is far superior.
