Buzzer Beater (2007)
Synopsis:
After being drafted into the Earth Team - a basketball team comprised solely of humans - street-punk-turned-pro Hideyoshi couldn't be more cocky. The team is still up against the Gorons, a physically superior race of aliens who have dominated the game for some time now, but new challenges and problems stand in their way. Hideyoshi is unhappy with the team and the Gorons have new tricks up their sleeves, but can the team rise to victory and bring the championship to Earth?

Naruto

add recIf high-octane sports are your thing and you like a little attitude mixed in, definitely check out Air Gear. Though some of the characters are a little bit as cocky as Hideyoshi in Buzzer Beater, at least they are endearing in their own way. I also preferred the comedic elements and overall feel of Air Gear to Buzzer Beater. So, if you liked BB, try out Air Gear.
