A devastating earthquake strikes Tokyo, leaving the city in ruins. Man's only hope is to use boomers, an artificial humanoid form. Everything seems perfect until some of the boomers go crazy and start killing people. The only hope of stopping them is the Knight Sabers, a group of 4 female heroes in form-fitting power suits, with which they can perform amazing feats of strength and agility.
An mounting evil is poised to take over Tokyo, and a group of women is all that can save the city. If you enjoyed the hectic antics of Meg, Jo, and Sei, you're gonna love the powersuited ladies, Priss, Sylia, Nene, and Linna.
Both series also feature a plot that draws together seemingly unrelated incidents into a coherent masterplan and culimating in an epic battle.
An organization known to the dark side of the world as Chronos claims to desire world peace, employing the top thirteen assassins in the world known as 'Erasers.' They each have a weapon customized to fit their style, all made out of orichalcum ore, the strongest material available on Earth. Number 13, Train Heartnet (codenamed Black Cat) is the most famous and revered of the thirteen Chronos numbers, but in the light of a tragic event he has come to question his path in life. Together with Sven Vollfied, a struggling bounty hunter and a living weapon named Eve, Train takes up a job as a bounty hunter - all the while running from the other Erasers and Creed Diskenth, a crazed man whom wants him to join the Apostles of the Stars, a group made to destroy Chronos.
If you enjoyed all the action that Burst Angel provides, then I recommend you watch Black Cat. Jo (the main character from Burst Angel) and Train (the main character from Black Cat) are very different, but I fell in love with both of them. They each have an admirable willpower to reach their goals and the strength and moves to back it up. Black Cat gives more character depth in the end, as well as a more intricate storyline.
