If you liked the Bleach anime, the Anime-Planet community thinks you'd like:
Being the insignificant heir to a talented family is rough, especially for someone who has little of his own talents and honestly desires to live up to the family name. Masahiro is the young grandson of the famed Abe no Seime. Although most consider him to be little in the face of his older male relatives, Masahiro is certain he can not only continue the family legacy but that he can stand in his own right as an Onmyouji. With the assistance of his friend Mokkun, he works to increase his skills and abilities as a spiritual protector and guide. With a great deal of will and the quiet assistance of his insightful grandfather, he will become a force of good in the battle against encroaching evil.
If you liked Bleach, you'd like Shounen Onmyouji because both are stories of teenagers who have to balance their day-to-day life with their job destroying evil. Both are good shounen action anime that will draw you in whether you like it or not.
I totally agree with what is said above and, they both have deamons, and as one who has watched bleach and loved it I also love this anime and believe you will too
In a world of science, sorcery is rediscovered and rapidly adopted in all areas of industry – but at a high price: an invisible pollution is spreading out across the world. Those who do not take proper precautions become infected, lose their sanity, and become demons. The Sorcery Administration Bureau, along with their Tactical Sorcerers, monitor magic uses and respond to any demonic outbreaks that occur. In this world, Ray Otto is a rogue tactical sorcerer who hunts down demons with reckless abandon. Given that he always gets the job done, the administration generally lets his activities slide. Together with the mysterious girl Kapel Theta, Ray risks his life and humanity to destroy demonkind... when the price is right.
booth are highly stilized action anime about specil forcies using magic powers to battle evil deamons that purge society. And bouth series have series have cool main charectersn and slight morel dilemas.
Strait Jacket is a lot darker than less shounen-feeling than Bleach, but both involve a badass fighter who tries to combat the supernatural horrors that plague the world. Each is dark and quite suited for fans of the other.
Beneath Tokyo lies a city whose inhabitants have inherited a natural ability to control the elements. After a civil uprising, two girls surface from the sub-terra in a bid to escape from this secret world. Together, Chelsea and Ruri stumble upon Asagi Rumina, a man who becomes determined to protect them from those who would pursue the maiden of life. After a close encounter with death, Rumina learns that he must develop a skill of his own to keep his newfound friends safe, especially as it seems to be his responsibility to stop the impending doom rising to take over the planet’s surface. Will his power of wind be enough to take on The Company, or will he be forced to kneel before those brandishing electricity, ice and shadow?
Both Tokyo Underground and Bleach are about the intrusion of a secret world into the life of an ordinary high school student - a student who also gains a new and rather unique and powerful ability. Also, both Ichigo and Rumina are known for being excellent fighters and can be hot-headed at times; they tend to act on impulse and in the aid of a female, who is mainly the heroine of the story.
Bleach and Tokyo Underground share similar plotlines, characters and protagonists.
Ichigo (Bleach) and Rumina (Tokyo Underground), both have a fighting reputation around their school and they are both down right stubborn. Which helps them when they need to rescue the main female protagonist from the clutches of Soul Society (Bleach) and The Company(Tokyo Underground).
The layout of the battles are really quite similar, as they both fight to protect their friends. The comedy and humour is pretty much the same as well!
I would recommend Tokyo Underground to Bleach fans and Bleach to Tokyo Underground fans ^.^
“Vash, the Stampede” - worth 60 billion dollars to the one who can turn him in. Bounty hunters everywhere are on the lookout for this legendary gunman, not to mention insurance agents Meryl Stryfe and Milly Thompson, who are tasked with preventing any potential damage that this Vash can cause. But with 60 billion on his head, Vash is not an easy man to find.
Both Trigun and Bleach have strong characters, action, and stories that have episodes that keep you coming back for more. If you like action anime with a great story and humor, these are two shows for you.
Although Trigun is more of a "wild west" anime than Bleach, any one looking for a funny shorter series filled with action and adventure will surely enjoy Trigun.
Kimihiro Watanuki is cursed with the ability to see evil spirits known as Youkai. Due to this power, the Youkai are attracted to him like a magnet, and each time he is close to being devoured. With his "friend" Doumeki, and his secret crush Himawari, they will discover that the world they live in is nowhere close to ordinary!
Both Bleach and XXXHOLiC are very alike in the supernatural aspect.
These 2 shows deal with things that the normal person can't see: ghosts, hollows, spirits, shinigamis, etc.
Unlike Bleach, XXXHolic is not an action show with the swords and all those cool kinds of weapons; however, they both include people, whether young or old, who have mysterious powers.
Both Bleach and XXXHOLiC tell the story of a young man who could see spirits, and interact with them, but who was fairly defenseless should the spirits turn malignant. Enter an otherworldly woman who gives him the tools he needs to help/fight spirits, while at the same time making herself his boss. With a lot of supernatural themes, and often similar comedic humor, these anime are very similar (at least for the first few seasons of Bleach).
