Hitsugaya and his Division are charged with guarding the powerful and mysterious King's Seal as it is moved from one location to the other, but a surprise attack by an unknown assailant from Hitsugaya's past decimates the defense and the Seal disappears. Wounded and framed for crimes he did not commit, Hitsugaya defects from his title and pursues the thief, reaching into memories from his past for clues. Meanwhile, the rest of the Soul Society looks for answers as to the location of the Seal and who their enemy could be. It's up to Ichigo, Rukia, Renji and the loyal Matsumoto to clear Captain Hitsugaya's name, find the King's Seal and bring the new enemy to justice.
When a mysterious group of ninjas attack Konoha they leave devastation in their wake. The ninjas are discovered to be from the Sky Country - a civilization that was destroyed during the second great ninja war. Amongst the wreckage Naruto encounters a doctor named Shinou who is helping to heal the wounded. Later at the hospital, Shinou's young pupil, Amaru, bursts in looking for him to help, as her own village has also been attacked. Now, while a four-man cell is counterattacking the enemy's base, Naruto, Sakura and Hinata are accompanying Shinou and Amaru to her village so they can help. As the Sky Country attempts to start another great war and bring the world into despair Naruto will have to try and stop them himself. With the power of dark chakra at the Sky Country's disposal, Naruto is faced with a powerful and dangerous enemy; though all is not lost, especially when help arrives from a most unexpected source...
Like a bit of kick-ass shounen action with good plot development? Then both of these films are for you. Both Naruto Shippuuden Movie 2, and Bleach: Diamond Dust Rebellion have an engaging plotline, with some good action sequences and a couple of good twists.
