Synopsis:

Rokuro Okajima is a small-time salaryman who is carrying documents for his company, when the ship he's traveling on is attacked by pirates. Kidnapped, he discovers to his dismay that his employers' main concern is to ensure the documents don't get into the wrong hands, even if it means sending the carrier to the bottom of the sea. Now, with his former life ruined and his kidnappers seeming comparatively friendly, "Rock" decides to join their merry band of mercenaries, and sets out with a new career to the shadier corners of the South China Sea.

Gunslinger Girl

Gunslinger Girl

Henrietta is a young girl who works for a "welfare group" that does the government's dirty work. Cybernetically-enhanced and specially-trained, she is one of a group of elite hit-girls, remorseless killers with no memories of their past. Jose, her partner, has taken care of her since she was brought into the organization following the murder of her family, and struggles between his affection for her, and his opposing duty to his employer. But, time is running out.. for with each bullet they fire, Henrietta and the other girls lose a little more of their humanity.

There are some semilarities, both main characters are gun experts, but in Gunslinger Girls the characters are a bit emotioneless, but still the girls still have  some relations of friendship between each other, in both anime there's a lot gun action, in both they take in dirty work from the bigshots and before the main story a lot of the charcters had different lifes from the  ones they have now.

A city without apparent order, gun/sword fights, and some pretty epic battle scenes. With some battle happy women, and similar animation styles, if you like one, you'll like the other.

If you liked Black Lagoon because it had a lot gunfighting scenes and a lot cool moments I think you might also like this movie. The movie has a lot WW2 and "Fallout game" relationships and dark humour and of course the most important of the all. Cool gunfights

You have WW2, Fallout and cool gunfight scenes, could you ask even more? And if you did, it most likely has it.

Black Lagoon is touted as action incarnate, an anime interpretation of the heroic bloodshed genre. As a fan of John Woo's Hard Boiled, I must say I was sorely disappointed. The action scenes are nothing special and the characters are overcompensating, spouting expletives and Engrish in an effort to seem cool.

Yasuomi Umetsu's Kite is brutal. The action is over-the-top. The characters are morally reprehensible and corrupt, and the world they inhabit is uncompromising and extreme. But it works. If you liked Black Lagoon, give Kite a chance.

Kuroshitsuji

Kuroshitsuji

In Victorian England it is commonplace for the rich and wealthy to have a staff, led by a head butler, to run their households; the Phantomhive Estate is no different. The young and demanding Count Ciel Phantomhive, child owner of a toy company, lives in the grand countryside manor. Sebastian is his head butler, and the epitome of perfection; he effortlessly and gracefully completes his day-to day chores and fixes the countless mistakes of the other employees. However, whilst on the outside all seems prim and proper, a more sinister secret lies just beneath the surface. Sebastian is in fact a demon bound by a contract with the young count; he will loyally serve and fight for him in return for his soul.

While Black Lagoon and Kuroshitsuji look different on the surface, they are both excellent at bringing across the feeling of darkness, more specifically, darkness within humans. Both are crime-infested shows, that have one or more completely badass characters, and one or more that'll send a chill down your spine. The only real difference between the two, is that Black Lagoon has more realism to the fighters (they're all humans) and Kuroshitsuji has more realism to the setting it's placed in (Victorian England).
