I think this anime is recommended because it has a similiar feel to it. Black blood brother is like Hellsing Ultimates baby brother
if you are a fan of vampires then you might want to look check these out. both are centered around legends by their own rights, both vampire legends who, once let loose upon the world, wants to right what the "royals" as a whole has done.
In the streets of Tokyo, the nightbreed walk as humans, preying on innocent lives and feasting on innocent blood. There is one man who would put a stop to this: Shido, the Night Walker, whose blood is made up of the very thing he aims to protect against: the nightbreed. Along with his co-worker Yayoi, a green fairy named Guni and a clever young secretary named Riho, Shido and his detective agency take cases that would be otherwise missed and forgotten, to seek out the nightbreed and send them from whence they came...
Vampires are what both of these anime are about and it is the focus on relationships, not only between vampires but also vampires and humans, that are the main focus of the story.
Ofcourse there is also lots of fun battles and humor thrown in so that if you like a mix of drama, action and laughs then these series are definately worth checking out.

Both Kurozuka and Black Blood Brothers feature vampire protagonists with mysterious pasts and fantastic combat abilities. The best aspect of both shows are the bloody fast paced action sequences.
In terms of plot of setting both shows are very different but if you enjoy good old fashion action and violence then these are both good choices.
Kiba is a wolf, one of the last of his kind, and his dream is to find Paradise in a world torn asunder by war. Cheza, the legendary Flower Girl, can lead him to Paradise, but there are others who desire her, and help from other wolves at his side may not be enough. Driven by his noble spirit, he will not forsake his quest.
It may seem odd, but these two shows do have a lot in common. Their plots are incredibly similar to one another, regarding a small group of 'people' escaping from a curropt or dystopian society that doesn't accept their kind to their own personal paridise. Both are dark and contain likeable characters who struggle against people who hate them simply because of what they are. In Black Blood Brothers the two brothers are vampires or black bloods, and in Wolf's Rain the group consists of wolves who can take on the appearence of human beings. Yes, they are very different shows; however, they are based off of similar ideas and plots. If you like one, you might enjoy the other as well.
