In present day England, a war is being fought. The average citizen does not notice, but vampires are running rampant among the populace, and it's up to the Hellsing organization to contain the bloodsucker threat, using even their own weapons against them. Alucard, a vampire himself, is the best agent the organization has to offer, answering only to Integra Hellsing herself. No one knows much about this mysterious figure fighting against the occult, but things starts to change after he “recruits” a new agent to the establishment...
If you liked one of Hellsing or Black Blood Brothers, you maybe will also like the other. The main characters are both vampires and they are slaying other vampires. Also in both series the fighting style is somewhat alike: they start off using man-made weapons, and later on they will use supernatural weapons as well.
Hellsing, like Black Blood Brothers, is a vampire anime which has guns and vampires hunting vampires. If you like that in one, you'd like the other.
Ok first lets get the obivious outta the way: Both Hellsing and Black Blood Brothers are about vampires and a vampire hunting other vampires. The main characters in both animes wear red suits and distictive hats and have similair attiudes, Besides these common traits both animes share a dark story with an epic feel to them. Both animes have female leads with similar charasitics at cetain points. Bottom line if you enjoy one you wil enjoy the other.
Alucard and Jirou are both full blood vampires, descendants of old bloodlines. The ones they fight are vampires too, but due to their lack of experience and notable younger age the fights become entertaining shows of character and force. If you like vampires these anime are a must.
Both sereis are about the heros among the vampires. While they seem to be able to live relatively unnoticed, things start to change when mysterious forces start to gather.
They`re both about vampire living amoungst Humans and vice versa. Also the main charecters also fight there own kind along with many other supernatural beings thats always want to destroy there weaker counterpartsé sidekicks, so to speak.
Both of these anime feature a red-coated vampire with pretty awesome fighting skills. Jirou and Alucard both hunt members of their own kind that threaten human existance/the peace. There is also the female side kick that is only somewhat useful to the protagonist.
There isn't much to say - vampires, schemes, fight and lots of action!
Both anime are very captivating to the point, you can't stop watching them. If you play the first episode, you end up watching all of them.

Black Blood Brothers, like Trinity Blood, is another anime with a vampire for a main character. Similar themes are in both anime such as the pain of eternal life, losing a loved one, being betrayed by your closest friends, and the desperate attempt to create a new world for both vampires and humans.
Do you like anime about vampires? If so, you'd like BBB and TB.
Both main characters are vampires who have a bad boy attitude in battles; in real life, however, they are as soft and innocent as one can be, and they both are involved in a war against vampires which threatens humanity.
I think that you will love the humor, action, happiness and sadness that these anime have.
Being someone who tries everything in order to bring peace between different races - humans and vampires, is always a hard job. But you need to do your best so the ones you care about may not be hurt. The lead male characters in both Black Blood Brothers and Trinity Blood - Jirou and Abel, are the kind of guys who after deciding on something, do everything in their power just to see it realized. They are both tough and hard to deal with when it comes to arguing, but deep inside they are soft and caring. Also, they can be considered defenders of justice and peace. And I am sure everyone will deffinitely like them both!
I think you'd like them because they're both funny nad have the same theme.Maybe my opinion is little biased cause i've watched them in he same period of time and partially because of them i became anime fan.But when i watched them i had the same feeling about both so...
I'm just trying to say that if you like vampires it's a must.
Both Trinity Blood and Black Blood Brothers have very powerful monsters as their main characters, but these monsters both have a softer human side that is revealed through their relationships with the people they want to protect. Both the main character can seem bumbling and innocent one minute and deadly dangerous the next.
Both show also deal with losing loved ones and spend time developing the relationships between the characters. There are also alot of conspiricy elements in each show.
Both Trinity Blood and Black Blood Brothers feature a-typical vampires trying their best to prevent the world, and those they love, from being destroyed by darker forces.
Each has lighthearted moments and excellent comedy intersperced throughout, to keep the show from becoming too serious or battle focused. Each has an enveloping plot, and each world stands on its own as real, engaging, and impossible to drop.
Vampires with a caste system trying to find piece with the human race, the common struggle in both of these animes. You also have ancient feuds, impressive allies, and a main character with a dark history.
If you like vampires and strong characters that'll stick with you you'll like both of these. Like Black Blood brothers, Trinity blood has a male vampire as the main character..well..he is a vampire..just one that drinks blood of other vampires. They also have a strong female character as a main as well. In both she becomes a strong and cool headed important character. The animes have the same feel to them. I could watch both over and over.
In world where flesh-eating monsters roam the streets, only one organization has the means to save civilization from annihilation: Red Shield, a specially-organized unit designed to fight these monsters, and the only weapon that can destroy them: Saya. Awakened from a 30-year sleep, Saya is thrust into a modern world which she has no memories of, and is troubled by a past filled only with bloodshed and sadness. With the undying love and support of her family and friends, she struggles to gain the strength to move forward and regain the pieces of her shattered memories.
Blood+, like Black Blood Brothers, is another vampire-related anime. If you like guns and vampires hunting vampires you might like these. Both also have a nice plot that doesn't give away everything until the end.
Truly, these anime share the theme of powerful vampires and amazing sword fights, but that is not all. They have characters with a long, dark and hidden history, as expected from long living beings, history that gets discovered little by little, like a puzzle that only reveals it's whole picture when it's finished. So, if you liked the story and the pace of one you will surely enjoy the other.
Blood + and Black Blood Brothers are both very good Vampire Animes. BBB deals with different blood lines and contains some comedy but has a very serious story line.
Blood+ on the other hand contains a more complex story line which keeps you on your toes at every turn. The lack of comedy is certainly not a great lose since it is the story and the main characters that you will enjoy in this Anime.
all the others had it right. amazing combat and great stories. Must watch for combat fans. one fits with the other just alike.
Aside from focusing a lot on action, the main thing these two have in common is the way they've built their main characters. Both focus on vampires, and take advantage of the fact that characters who are hundreds of years old have experienced a lot and built various relationships. The past is revealed little by little, as past decisions and old friends appear to impact the story.
It is the early 1920s, and New York City has a problem of evil proportions – demons. With devil worshipping on the rise, foul spirits and monsters have begun to surface, causing fear and panic in their wake. Combating this threat is the Magdalene Order – a group of religious officials charged with exorcising the evil that is spreading throughout the city. Rosette Christopher is a young nun who takes on missions alongside her contracted partner – a young demon named Chrono. Now it is up to this unlikely pair to wield God’s power – and plenty of holy bullets – to destroy the menace in front of them and confront the demons of their past.
Black Blood Brothers and Chrono Crusade each deal with a central enemy who must be stopped to save the world. Both have touching relationships and a little bit of a religious element, more so in Chrono Crusade. If you liked one, you'll definitely enjoy the other.
They both have a christian religious aspect, but you don't have to believe in christianity to watch them. They both have a threat to the safety of the world that the church sets up a group to prevent or combat. Both are really good.
Yes, these series are very different from one anohter, but they both have dark themes and storylines. They are subtle in their thematic undertones and are some of the best non-romantic(sort of) paranormal anime you'll get. Both were made at about the same time and have somewhat similar animating styles.
These are both fantastic fantasy series. The leads are pretty similar to each other. Both stories are centered around a the leads fighting a group of enemies that have a connection with the male lead's past.
as these two anime come from two different angles, I can't argue with the match up. chances are if you enjoyed one or the other you'll enjoy the second. both containing a deep and meaningful plot.
Nightmares creep into the waking hours as Mina Tepes, childlike Queen of the damned, shockingly appears on live television to announce her plans for a colony where her blood-sucking brethren can live in peace. As pandemonium engulfs the globe, Mina reconnects with a handsome face from her past: Akira, a brooding beast whose link to the queen is both powerful and mysterious. Together, Mina and Akira will bare their fangs and fight against an ancient evil. And though the Queen and her ferocious werewolf minions vow that no human blood will be spilled, there are others of her kind who yearn to sink their teeth into innocent flesh. Can Akira maintain his fleeting link to the realm of the living while battling to protect this ruthless and royal beauty? Only one thing is certain. The world’s not ready for her reign.
If you like this show, I think you'd also enjoy Black Blood Brothers/Dance in the Vampire Bund. Both have a simularity in the fact both are full of action, have vampires as main characters, and in both the vampires are trying to reach what's known as a "special zone" where all forms of vampires can live peacefully.
Black Blood Brothers and Dance in the Vampire Bund are both very similar because they are both aboutan age where vampires have come out of the shadows and showed themselves to human; they are similarbecause in both these animes the higher ranked vampires created a special zone to the vampires to live in with the help of the goverment.
So you liked one? Then you'll like the other. Its garanteed!
Both series have vampires as the main protaganists, and both series invlove a safe haven, or "special zone", where vampires can live along side humans peacefully.
Both of these animes revolve around a group of vampires making their own space peacefully amongst humans. The antagonists are vampires that wish that peace were destroyed. If you like supernatural protagonists, interesting fight scenes, and vampires that don't sparkle, these are for you.
I would recommend both BBB and Dance in the vampire bund because both are about vampires (and not the gay twilight kind either) and have a considerable ammount of action along... also both can be found on Netflix so they are both pretty easy to watch if you have an account... so if you like vampires or are into some pretty nice action then i would recommend these animes
