End of Evangelion is an alternate ending to the Evangelion TV series (replaces episodes 25/26). In this powerful conclusion, the final battle against the Angels is fought, and questions are finally answered. The fate of the world lies with Shinji, but how will he act?
There's the obvious--great fights filled with lots of gratutitiuos violence and blood. What really strikes me as similar though is the depth and reallism of the characters. They do not gloss over the 'darker', weaker side of the human spirit, which lends the afore mentioned touch of reallism.
“Vash, the Stampede” - worth 60 billion dollars to the one who can turn him in. Bounty hunters everywhere are on the lookout for this legendary gunman, not to mention insurance agents Meryl Stryfe and Milly Thompson, who are tasked with preventing any potential damage that this Vash can cause. But with 60 billion on his head, Vash is not an easy man to find.
On the first note you migt say what berserk? It is nothing like Trigun. But I say, yes it is. In both Series we have a male main character, both alone in the world, very closed not showing much of themselves to the outside world. Vash hunts his evil brother, and Guts kills for Griffith who he would give his life for, but later on, their relationship turns bad. What happens to Guts and Griffiths relation is the same that happens to Knives and Vash's relation.
In the distant future, the world lies in ruin and vampires rule the land. Mercenary vampire hunters fight the terrible forces of darkness - for a price; the most notorious of them all being the half-vampire named D. However, despite his actions that help humanity, he finds himself shunned by those he would save. When a girl named Charlotte is kidnapped by the vampire Lord Meier, her father hires D to bring her back - dead or alive. Competing with the vampire hunting Marcus Brothers for the prize, D encounters Meier first; but in the middle of their confrontation, Charlotte calls out Meier's name in worry and Meier reveals that she is accompanying him of her own free will...
In world where flesh-eating monsters roam the streets, only one organization has the means to save civilization from annihilation: Red Shield, a specially-organized unit designed to fight these monsters, and the only weapon that can destroy them: Saya. Awakened from a 30-year sleep, Saya is thrust into a modern world which she has no memories of, and is troubled by a past filled only with bloodshed and sadness. With the undying love and support of her family and friends, she struggles to gain the strength to move forward and regain the pieces of her shattered memories.
Berserk and Blood+ are both incredible fighting anime that follow heroes of incredible power. They both have tons and tons of blood and they're just so right for each other in that sort of way. Both of them also have pretty sinister plots, so there really are a lot of similarities between the two.
Wars leech the life out of a country in so many ways. They consume lives and resources at an incredible rate, but what is worst is the way they eat away at hope. The Empire, which has survived the years of war, now finds itself with a new conflict to resolve: with the exception of the noble families that managed to hold their wealth during the struggle, its populace is made up of starving citizens and war-damaged soldiers. Section III of the army of the Empire was created to deal with this ongoing problem; however, their progress was been slow on all fronts. The citizens fear and distrust them due to their experiences with other soldiers, the nobles have no use for them, and the other branches of the military mock them for the ineffectual nature. LT. Alice L. Malvin of Section III Pumpkin Scissors won't be defeated, though, even if her newest recruit does have something unusual about him.
This is an odd recommendation that I feel like making. On the surface, the anime have nothing in common. But if you liked the suspense, the feeling of unfairness and the main character's dilemma's about life and duty, then I feel you will like Pumpkin Scissors. The main character is a huge man with deadly skills and weaponry, much like Gatts, but a kind person at heart. The action takes place in a modern - between world wars - era, and he is torn by guilt and remorse, as he tries to make a difference.
