Ishiyama High is home to a whole host of delinquents, including Oga, a legendary badass who's downright devilish. One day Oga finds a man floating down a river, after which the man splits open to reveal a baby inside – but it’s no ordinary baby! The cute tot is actually Beelzebub, the future king of the demons! And as Oga is as mean as they come, Beelzebub latches on to its newfound 'father', much to the other demons' dismay. Now, in addition to battling rival gangs and becoming the strongest delinquent around, Oga must buy diapers, comfort and carry around an annoying baby who's more of a devil than he is!
At Cromartie High, it’s tough being a delinquent -- a fact that do-gooder Takashi Kamiyama intimately understands. When he’s not engaging in contests of strength and rival gang wars, Kamiyama can also be found submitting punny jokes and planning his own rise to fame within the delinquents’ ranks, and that’s just the beginning! With friends like robotic Mechazawa, a giant gorilla, a hairy man from the 80s named Freddie and a clan of delinquents with mohawks that flow in the wind, how can anyone not enjoy high school?
They are both set in a high school full of delinquents..
but crom high is more comedy than action.
Very similar in terms of setting and comedy. Both anime are located in a school with nothing but delinquents.
While Beelzebub does have an overall arc and storyline, Cromartie High School is mostly episodic. And while Cromartie is mostly pure comedy with different elements thrown in, Beelzebub has a healthy dose of Comedy, Action, and a bit of Romance as well.
In Gintoki's Japan, the arrival of the various space races known collectively as the Amanto ended the era of the samurai. The Amanto's highly advanced technology resulted in total conquest and a severe economic shift. Now, former samurai such as Gintoki scrape together whatever livelihood they can. Gintoki's profession of choice is that of a yorozuya: he'll complete any job for money. However, he’s unmotivated; and spending most of the day on the couch with the latest issue of Jump and a carton of Strawberry Milk is his preferred pastime. It turns out that his new unpaid employees, Shinpachi and Kagura, are going to interfere with his pastime even more than with his "work"! Of course, none of this means he has really given up on his samurai ideologies!
both has top notch comedy and randomness, and both the main characters are super strong gintama has more randomnes tough but both are extrmely funny
If you like Gintama then you'll like Beelzebub. They relate to each other in that both anime's are gag anime's but can get serious at times. Both main characters give little or no regard to those around them but somehow always end up helping out when needed. The shows are also mostly humor based and sometimes are offensive but either way if you like one you'll probably like the other.
Yoichi Karasuma is a strong young samurai who was born and raised in the mountains. One day his father decides to send him to the city to stay with the four Ikuraga sisters so that he can gain valuable life experience, but his first trip into civilization doesn’t go quite as planned. Not only is he late to meet his new hostesses, but he is labelled a pervert and manages to get himself arrested – twice! Now, as he lives at the Ikuraga Dojo with Ibuki, Ayame, Kagome and Chihaya, Yoichi must adapt to his new life at school while accepting the rather violent ‘training’ he receives from Ibuki. After making an enemy of the school delinquent and with a mysterious man after his life, it seems that Yoichi’s quest to gain life experience won’t be so smooth after all!
These two series just felt the same to me. Their main characters are similar in the sense that they are very strong yet so dumb that they get themselves in all sorts of trouble. I don't think you will regret giving these two a try if plain comedy is what you are looking for.
In the world, there are those who hunt down rare and powerful items known as Lost Precious, including Ryuuji Kisaragi’s own parents and cousin Erika, who’s been studying abroad for the last few years. But when Erika suddenly returns, the boy finds himself in the middle of the action when she drags him along to intercept a special treasure from the nefarious Fang organization. What’s more, the duo soon discovers that this Lost Precious isn’t a jewel or trinket, it’s a rare dragon girl who instantly bonds with Ryuuji! Now, Ryuuji and Erika must help teach this dragon - who they name Rose - about the world, while keeping her safe and meeting other new friends and dragons along the way.
Dragon Crisis has the same humor as Beelzebub in my opinion. However Beelzebub is way better because of the actual combat, and funny jokes. Dragon crisis is funny on random jokes, and Love-Jealousy.
Currently both are aired in 2011, and still Ongoing as today.
If you don't like Dragon Crisis!, You should checkout the other 2011 animes, there are alot of good ones this year! Goodluck watching anime, You Anime-Fans!
