Minato Sahashi was living a normal life; he had just failed his college entrance exam for a second year in a row, and lived a quiet life in a single's apartment. That is, until the busty Musubi fell from the sky on top of him! She is a Sekirei, one of 108 that are destined to fight each other until only one remains; and he or she will ascend to heaven with his or her chosen one known as an Ashikabi. Minato soon finds himself in the embrace of Musubi, becoming her Ashibaki - but his life will only become more complicated. Musubi isn't the last to claim Minato as her Ashibaki, and what's worse, plenty of other Sekirei and opponents stand in his way!
I think if you liked one you'll like the other because their both, about gorgeous women fighting to survive.
Scantily clad, busty ladies duke it out for honor and glory. Both have an almost harem feel to them, though Sekirei's harem has a male in the center, and Battle Girls has an all female cast. With bits of the supernatural, plenty of battles, and some underlying intrigue, these animes make quite the pair.
The time is centuries ago, during the Sengoku period; the place is feudal Japan. Political ambitions and bloodshed run rampant as rival warlords battle it out in an attempt to rule the nation. Some seek to spread their noble ideals, some seek to protect justice and yet others seek destruction. Date Masamune, Sanada Yukimumra and a variety of other warriors will fight it out time and time again; their actions helping to ultimately decide the fight of Japan.
Both anime revolve around the great historical figure Oda Nobunaga. Battle Girls takes things to a new weird level by making them all badass busty girls where Sengoku Basara, which strange on it's own, is slightly more realistic since there are males in their rightful bodies. Action and fighting all around in both series. If you liked one of these because of the characters give the other a try!
These series are each centered around slight alterations of what happened in the Sengoku period of Japan. Having over the top battles using a large number of similar characters (although Battle Girls are only female versions of them all), these series will be a good fit if you are a history buff with a taste for absurd battles.
Half a year has passed since Muneakira and his busty, battle-savvy friends fought valiantly in a fierce battle, and now, Muneakira is returning to Yagyuu Dojo after embarking on a journey to train his skills. But little did the man expect that Yukimura, Jubei and the rest of the gang would have turned the dojo into a maid café! What's more, past foes have been resurrected, and they have their sights set on Jubei. With new girls – and animals – to make contracts with and action at every turn, life at Yagyuu Dojo is more exciting than ever.
Battle Girls and Samurai Bride are two titles that involve hugely busty girls in samurai/feudal times and are a mix of pure ecchi and comedy. Fans of one will appreciate the other.
Kagome is a normal high school girl who falls into a well, transporting her back in time to the feudal era. Upon her arrival to this world, she mercifully unleashes Inuyasha, a half demon. As if this isn't enough, she also discovers that she is the bearer of the Shikon no Tama, a jewel of great spiritual power, a jewel which has just shattered into a million shards. Now, along with Miroku the priest, Sango the demon hunter, and Shippou the mischievious fox-demon, they must set out to find the Shikon shards and defeat the evils of the demon Naraku.
Why not step back into feudal Japan with either InuYasha or Battle Girls: Time Paradox? Both animes offer a fun and unique look into the past history and culture through the adventures of a young and naiive girl. Both of the main characters find themselves magically transported back in time and mixing up with history and historical quests. If you liked one, give the other a try.
Every four years, the violent Queen's Blade tournament begins once more. Meant as a test of strength and beauty, girls fight each other in hopes of gaining power over the land, each with her own reason for participating. Reina, Risty and Tomoe, amongst others, are three who seek to win the tournament - but their path won't be easy. In addition to traveling the land, the girls must fight warring ninja, avoid the sting of acid-spitting nipples, and most importantly try to keep clothed when minimally possible - all in hopes of winning Queen's Blade! Who will become the next ruler?
Both are fan service shows with no deep plot. though BG is more into the moe and QB is more echi. If you like battling women with almost no cloths both shows are pretty much alike.
