Although set in different times and based on completely different subject matter, both Yakitate and Battle Athletes focuses on the rise of the underdog. The viewer will find themself captivated by the unfolding action, cheeering on the unlikely hero to victory.
Served with an unhealthy dose of comedy, Battle Athletes and Yakitate will have you in stitches at some completely inane jokes. I'm sure fans of one will love the other.
