Battle Angel Alita and Armitage both exude a cool cyberpunk style, and both characters are badasses. If you enjoy cyberpunk and dark series, there's no doubt you'll enjoy them. If you liked one, you WILL like the other, hands down.

MalteseFalcon

Battle Angel Alita and Armitage III are both series that intermingle action with philisophical debate. Cyberpunk futures where robots are indestinguishable from humanity, each series explores what it means to be human and what future robots and humans can find together. If you enjoyed one series, you are more than likely to enjoy the other.

cerberus38

Both anime are set in a futuristic society where androids are commonplace. With the titular characters being an android, both anime explore their emotions and what it means to be human rather than artificial. The feel and themes of both anime are very similar so I'm sure that if you liked one then you'll like the other.

Armitage III Dual-Matrix

Armitage III Dual-Matrix

Ross and Armitage are now living on Mars with their daughter, Yoko. Their peace is interrupted when a riot involving the Thirds takes place -- alerting Armitage to the possibility that someone is trying to manufacture them yet again. After discovering the truth, she must fight not only for her life, but for Ross and Yoko's as well.

Both Battle Angel Alita and Armitage III: Dual Matrix explore the depths of artificial intelligence and what can make a cyborg more human than a human. With a dark and somewhat gritty feel, both anime are sure to please in the action department with stunning visuals.
chii

2 women with android bodies and very deadly abilities. Weather if it's to figure out how human they are or to fight for what they believe in these 2 animes are very similar with lovely graphics and story. Check out one if you liked the other.

Avenger

Avenger

In a bleak look at the future, Avenger takes place in a desolate wasteland filled with domed cities. Fighters from each town battle each other for power and prestige. Avenger follows the path of Leila, one of these fighters, as well as Nei, a young being called a "doll" (an android created to live with and serve humans), as they leave their home city, travelling into the wasteland.

Androids and puppets... a mystery left untold... ah well nearly ;P Just like Battle Angel Alita, Avenger deals with the futuristic thought about creating dolls to serve the humans, as substitutes for lost children and other things. The story is quite similar but in a never version and it got a nice crisp animation. Check it out if you want to get caught up in a good new series.
sublime
For fans of dark, bleak portrayals of the future, Avenger and Battle Angel Alita certainly share this much in common. Throw in some excellent fighting scenes as well as robots with emotional issues and again both series deliver.

shalist
A series about a somewhat futuristic world where cybernetics is becoming the norm. The emphasis is more on using brains to catch the criminals, vice the nifty fight scenes when they're finally cornered, but if you liked Battle Angel Alita, you'll likely enjoy Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex as well.
Deadlystrike6

Both are science fiction productions involving cyborg character elements and strong elements of corruption and the need for justice. Ghost in the Shell occurs in a world similar to ours and Battle Angel Alita creates its own universe. These are serious anime with solid character design, imaginative worlds, and compelling, engrossing storylines.

Singan

Two oldschool cyberpunk OVAs featuring violent cyborg action and serious drama. If you liked the one, check the other too.
