If you enjoyed Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu and Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu 2, but perhaps missed all the physical transformation action that was a little light in this OVA, then you'd likely enjoy Accel World. These anime are both based much within a school environment and school life, contain strong elements of 'transformation' into avatars for the sake of battle within a virtual environment, and also contain very similar notes of mismatched love interests and competing females. Both of these series contain a sense of trial and achievement - one with a slightly more contextually serious undertone, and the other with a more comedic one - however both are main drivers in character and plot development throughout each series.
