Fifteen-year-old Yamada has just entered high school and is gung ho about achieving her ultimate goal: to have one hundred sex partners! There’s just one problem: she’s a virgin, and she hasn’t even had a boyfriend! To get the ball rolling, Yamada decides to target a shy boy named Takashi from her school; but even though he is also a virgin and she ruthlessly aggressive with her feminine ways, it’s not as easy as Yamada hopes. Though they begin to have feelings for each other, will Yamada and Takashi ever get past first base?
The premise of both of these anime's is very similar. Both B Gata H Kei and 30-sai no Hoken Taiiku humorously deal with the journey of a man or woman losing their virginity to another. They both have many silly parts and are full of ecchi without being too over-the-top and still find a way to be warm, funny anime's regardless of their plot line. They also share a similar brand of humor in regards to silly sexual encounters.
These series each are comedy driven romances that focus around people trying to lose their virginity. Each series has its fair share of bathroom humor and misunderstandings throughout, making them a good fit.
When the goal is to lose your virginity, how do you begin? 30-sai and B Gata H Kei both revolve humorously around this question, with plenty of ecchi humor and a few touching moments which remind us that it isn't always all about sex.
Fumihiko Matsumaru is a salary man who works in the marketing department of a snack company. With nowhere to stay and no family to aid Aka, Fumihiko took her in; and the next day, Fumihiko’s new marketing idea was accepted, and Aka’s being hired for the product’s voice actor! As the relationship of Aka and Fumihiko deepens, the more difficult their relationship becomes. Can they live together under the same roof while keeping the secret of their relationship safe?
Both are comedic romances. Although B Gata is heavier on the sexual content, each relationship deals with what what makes a real relationship beyond physical contact.
I recommend fans of simple, straight-up romance to watch both B Gata H Kei and REC. Both shows feature very 'normal' male lead roles and yet they each encounter a beautiful girl to complement their respective personalities. In REC, the very apathetic male finds refuge in Aka Onda's shining personality. His days of monotony were numbered upon the fateful encounter. In B Gata H Kei, we are given a healthy but shy high school boy who becomes the target of Yamada's affection. Her single-minded and oversexed brain results in a very unique style of Romance and Comedy. Both shows definitely prove that opposites CAN attract!
While B Gata H Kei tends to be a lot more heavy in the sexual content category with really nothing along those lines really showing up in Rec. Also Rec tends to be a bit more on the mature side in terms of story with the characters being something more believable than some of the characters in B Gata H Kei. Both series are still both fairly good romcoms and if you liked one then you may want to check out the other.
Haruo is a short geeky schoolboy with a whiny voice and glasses, and the only one in his family without magic powers. Therefore it should come as no surprise that his life is a constant struggle to prevent being ravished by any nearby female. When a witch under a curse named Mamiya enters the fray, Haruo's precious maidenhood that he holds onto so dearly is placed in grave danger. With the added risqué brought on by the arrival of this new number one contender, Haruo's struggle becomes even more desperate, and his hidden powers begin to awaken.
In the beginning both are using the guys to get something they want, though B Gata H Kei's is a little bit more of a perverted reason; both guys are clueless to the real reason. They are also ecchi animes and comedies but the humor in B Gata H Kei's is a little bit more mature. Well either way if you like one you will like the other.
B Gata H Kei and Magikano involve the main girls of the series gleefully using the male characters to their advantage, turning out lots of hilarious ecchi scenes and awkward moments.
While Nayu Hayama may be a middle school student, she has the fashion sense of an adult – at least, when it comes to lingerie. Unlike her other classmates, Nayu is an underwear fanatic and is highly knowledgeable about a girl’s changing body, the right fit for a bra and a variety of materials like lace and beads. Alongside her new friends the busty Haruka and flat-chested Yako, Nayu will spread her love of panties and even help form a club dedicated to researching ladies’ delicates!
The series B Gata H Kei and Chu-Bra!! Are two series filled with perverted girls. This seems to be less of a rarity in recent times as the level of pervertedness in girls seems to be increasing in series.
