In both anime, robots are helping humans in daily life. In Azusa Will Help!, the maid robot is used to replace a member of the baseball team. Both anime also feature the same humour, which is based on the robot's misunderstanding of language usage. Similar to how Chi is presumed to be a Chobits, in Azusa it is hinted that there could be a legendary robot made perfect for playing baseball.

Sangokagome

Robot girls your thing? How about helpful ones, whose sole purpose is to aid you with your sports or internet needs? Like em, cute, sunny and even sexy? Well then, I highly suggest getting both Chobits and Azusa on your watching list!

chii

Both anime have robots that help humans in their day to day life. Azusa becomes a baseball player and Chii becomes a source for the internet and much more. Azusa is only a short OVA so if you are looking for more robot goodness look towards Chobits because if you liked Azusa you should enjoy Chobits and get more of a story.

karcik

Both anime take place in a very similar world, where people live together with robots. In addition, both are about a human boy who takes care of a humanoid girl. They also deal with the question "is it possible for a robot to have human heart, emotions?" . So if if you liked one, I'm sure you'll like the other :)

The main thing both series have in common is that the main female role in a maid android. Though where Mahoromatic actually has ecchiness, Azusa has none. The humor is fairly similar, quite a bit of the humor in Azusa is mainly based on "android being unadept to the normal life", while this type of humor isn't as often used in Mahoromatic. Another main difference is that Azusa is a sports anime, while Mahoromatic is an action anime.

Both of these shows feature adorable female robots, who while overcoming various challenges, try to help others as much as they can. They are dearly loved by all their friends, which makes for very cute stories.

Elfen Lied

Elfen Lied main image

For Kouta and Yuka, finding the bloody naked young girl on the beach would change their lives forever, for better or for worse. Unable to speak or function as a normal human being, she is named Nyuu by the duo, and taken into their home in an effort to save her. But what neither teenager knows is that this innocent young girl is actually a killing machine -- an experiment gone terribly wrong -- and it is only a matter of time before the murderer in her awakens again...

Both Elfen Lied and Azusa Will Help! feature a main character who, at first, can only say a cute syllable which eventually will become her name. In both anime, a boy finds the main character, and a love story blossoms between those two, creating ecchi comical situations, and leading to questions about whether the girl is human or not, and if love is possible between them.

Both series are actually a sort of slice of life series with an android as main character, which find it hard to adapt to how-things-work-in-this-world. the main difference between the two is that Azusa is mainly located outside and takes place in the future, while Maico merely takes place indoors. A major difference is the *type* of humor used in both series, as well as the drama expect. While the humor in Maico 2010 is often quite subtile, the humor in Azusa is fairly straight-to-the point. The drama in Azusa is quite predictable and obvious, while the drama in Maico is quite unpredictable.
