Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Rei

Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Rei

Several months have passed since the horrific events in Hinamizawa came to an end. Little by little life returns to normal, with Rika and her friends doing their best to put the past them and mend their old wounds. All seems to be going well until one day tragedy strikes again as Rika is unexpectedly involved in a bloody traffic accident that shatters her short-lived peace. As she wakes, she finds herself thrust back into the nightmare summer of 1983, and sets out to once again correct Hinamizawa's twisted killing cycle. Rika soon realizes, however, that such a task is more difficult than she first imagined; this Hinamizawa is drastically different from all those in the past, and now more than just her own life is at stake...

I usually don't recommend just the second or third season of a series, but I find these to be very close. They both center strongly around (especially near the end of each series) the difference between an imperfect world that one had earned and a perfect world that one is given. If you like that type of connection, these series would be a good choice.

Inukami!

Inukami!

The Kawahira family specializes in dealing with troublesome spirits with the help of inukami, strong dog spirits that take human form. Members of the family are expected to make pacts with strong inukami in order to fulfill their duties, but their family has a black sheep: the perverted Keita, who charges people for his help. His inukami, Youko, is dedicated to make Keita completely hers. Her favorite form of punishment for him when he strays is teleporting him into the city completely naked. He's been arrested for indecent exposure so many times that he's a jailhouse regular, and is considered an outcast by his family and normal society; yet an inukami of the highest caliber chose to be his partner?! Is there really more to him than perverseness?

If you liked Asura Cryin, then you'll love Inukami. In both animes one of the main characters are girls and the kick but big time :3 when you think of it there's not much difrents in Youko fighting with Keita or Misao fighting with Tomohane :)

Persona -trinity soul-

Persona -trinity soul-

Now, with the discovery of more people like himself, Shin finds himself drawn further and further into the world of those who use "Persona."

If you liked persona trinity soul or asura cryin 2 then you would probably like the other one because in both anime the main characters and their parties summon supernatural beings to do battle for noble and selfless reasons.  In Persona trinity soul it's the persona and in Asura Cryin' 2 it's the asura cryin and asura machina.

Robotics;Notes

Robotics;Notes

In the year 2019, the Robotics Club of Central Tanegashima High School has only one goal in mind: to create a working replica of the giant anime robot Gunvarrel! But doing so isn’t easy as the club only has two members: Aki, who took over the project from her now-graduated sister; and Kai, a lazy gamer who’d rather be elsewhere. What’s worse, the school’s vice principal has decided their club is a waste of school funds and plans to shut them down! Now, the duo must convince her otherwise by winning a fighting robot tournament and gaining new, machine-savvy members, but when Kai accidentally stumbles upon an unbelievable conspiracy, the Robotics Club becomes the least of his concerns...

Teenagers, robots, scientific organizations with questionable morals, and the fate of the world hanging in balance link these two shows.

However, upon breaking out onto the surface world, Simon, Kamina, and Yoko encounter enemies more powerful than they could have envisioned. This may seem like an odd connection, but the end of each series seems very similar: Humanity fighting for its chance to create its own destiny against a seemingly unstoppable force that requires all of them working together to overcome, in a very... odd place.
