Both series start off as a bit of a romance from a childhood arrangement. They diverge rapidly, but both are built on "Love Can Conquer All, If It Works Very Hard At It".

A Little Snow Fairy Sugar

A Little Snow Fairy Sugar

Saga is an ordinary girl who lives her life by planning everything ahead of time. Unfortunately, having a waffle-loving Snow fairy called Sugar follow her home was not a part of these plans! Together with apprentice fairies Salt and Pepper, Sugar must find the 'twinkles' that will make their magical flowers blossom, thus turning them into fully fledged season fairies. The trouble is, none of them actually knows what a 'twinkle' is! And so, with help from Saga and other friends, the trio begin their search, whilst having fun and perfecting their magic along the way.

AnM is darker, and TSFS is bright and cheery. But both have to do with the things people do for those that they love. Past that I have NO idea why you'd like one if you like the other ... but I think you would.

Aquarian Age

Overall, Asagiri no Miko and Aquarian Age give different moods in their atmosphere, but there are a few events that give off the same feel, especially during battles. Both involve spiritual seals and Miko. I found that the main trial they went through developed in a similar way. Aquarian Age has deeper drama and great animation.

Azumanga Daioh

Azumanga Daioh

Ten-year-old genius Chiyo, animal-loving Sakaki, loudmouth Tomo, athletic Kagura, weight-conscious Yomi and dim-witted Osaka are six friends who share laughs, good times, and a high school homeroom. With scary (and sometimes perverted) teachers, school festivals, penguin suits and general hilarity abounding, you can be sure that there's never a dull day in the life of one of these students!

Asagiri no Miko could be described as Fushigi Yuugi for those of us suffering from ADD. Both series revolve about a girl who is a priestess. The differences in both series abound, but for a show centered around a female lead filled with fantasy and gods look no further than Fushigi Yuugi.
