Taking place in current-day Tokyo, AGF follows the story of Fubuki, a video game enamored teen who has won the title of "Champion Arcade Gamer". Fubuki's secret weapon is her Fashion Panty, which, when activated, releases all the spirits of the best gamers in the world, making her invincible. With this year's championships right around the corner, Fubuki might find herself in over her head, as this year, the four kings of the Gyurashikku-Dan are hell-bent on stealing the championship title, and consequently, taking over the world!
In the video game world of Goemon, the evil Makuamuuge has concocted a nefarious plan: to take over the human world! To facilitate the takeover he sends the dashing Harakiri Seppukumaru; with Seppukumaru's help, a portal can be created that will allow Makuamuuge to complete his plans. However, hope exists for mankind: the ninja Goemon, who fell into young Tsukasa's life through a computer monitor! Along with the machine-savvy Monoshiri and a giant robot, Goemon will battle Seppukumaru and his evil monsters and save the human world from destruction!
Though Fubuki and Ninja have little in common, each has a campy feel and involves video games. As this isn't super common in the anime world, I felt this recommendation was warranted.
Nanoca Flanka is a genius inventor who has been sent to the seaside town of Tristia, in order to help revive its troubled economy.
