Overall, Aquarian Age and Asagiri no Miko give different moods in their atmosphere, but there are a few events that give off the same feel, especially during battles. Both involve spiritual seals and Miko. I found that the main trial they went through developed in a similar way. Asagiri no Miko has perky humour, and uses great colours.

Both Yumeria and Aquarian Age are quasi-harem stories where the central (male) figure has a unique, coveted power that can save the world. They also both exist partly out of this world and in another.

When talking about music, Aquarian Age and Black Heaven lead all that is anime. Aquarian Age has more of a story, but both anime have a lot of character development, which helps add more to them than "just" good music.

Thanks to a good dramatic love story, Aquarian Age and Wolf's Rain can both get pretty depressing at times. This adds a dark and gloomy atmosphere to the anime. Though Wolf's Rain is darker and more mysterious, the atmosphere is present in both anime.

Basilisk

Basilisk

Oboro, a naive, love-struck girl, is pledged to Gennosuke, an idealist. Both are successors to opposing ninja clans with a long history of hatred kept barely in check by a covenant of peace. Just as the two vow to reconcile the clans with their marriage, the shogun orders the feud to resume in order to resolve an internal struggle that threatens to tear the Tokugawa shogunate apart. Even worse, Oboro and Gennosuke themselves are forced to lead their clans in battle. Aquarian Age and Basilisk are definitely meant for the same fans! They both have an interesting love story which will appeal even to those who don't particularly like romantic series. Why? Because they are just so different and have interesting twists in the story when outsiders become involved. Basilisk has ninjas with strange powers which means a lot of fights, while Aquarian Age doesn't really focus on the fights. Yet they are there, along with the similar atmosphere and an equally great story!
