Both series are about a girl who has to fore fill some prophecy in a strange environment. And of course in both series there are some well willing guys by her side to aid her. If you liked one, and you want more of the same genre then this is a good pick.
Both series are about a girl with strong personality who is chosen to save the world with the help of group of handsome men. Both series are quite romantic and they follow about the same progression. If you liked one, you would surely like the other.
both have the same plot line, one girl has to save the universe the only real difference is the number of men. both are very good and if you liked one you will like the other

Now, she has to fight the ambitious Fenrir, whose only purpose is to leech the life force from all living beings. Can Himeno save the world and find a way to deal with her growing feelings for one of the Liefe Knights?
Both series are about a girl who is chosen to save the world with the help of group of men with special abilities. Both series are very romantic and they follow the same progression. If you liked one, you would surely like the other.
Both Pretear and Angelique center around a normal everyday girl that gets whisked away into a magical situation. Both deal with the main heroine surrounded by hot looking guys trying to save the earth.
If you've watched either Angelique or Pretear then I strongly recommend you watching the other one. The two have the same kind characters and ideas that make them both great. Both of the main characters are girls who think that they're not special in any way and can't be of help to anyone - plus they're surrounded by guys that are sworn to protect them and fight alongside them. In Pretear the story is more comical - but in both anime are genres of shoujo, magic, romance and comedy. In both Angelique and Pretear you'll find yourself cheering the main character on as she attempts to fulfill her duty and make sturdy relationships with the characters.
If you enjoyed either Pretear or Angelique ~When the Heart Awaknes~ - then the other is a MUST see!
In an ancient and mythological land called Saiunkoku, the people have begun to recover from a period of war and famine; thus, when an official from the imperial court offers the impoverished and beautiful Shuurei more money than she could ever dream of in return for a favor, she jumps at the chance. What she doesn’t count on, however, is being asked to become a concubine to the recluse Emperor and help him transform into a better leader. What’s more, the Emperor shows little intelligence, seems to have no interest in ruling, and is rumored to prefer men. One thing’s for certain: Shuurei has her work cut out for her!
My guess is you're looking for something colourful, sparkly, with lots of bishounen and a plucky female lead. Well, here you go - check out Saiunkoku Monogatari. While Angelique is not too bad (and more aimed at kids), Saiunkoku Monogatari is positively good, with a far better plot. Like Angelique, however, it's about a girl being thrown into a new poltiical life that they have to get used to, involves a lot of that same fluffy adventuring, some magical legends, and pretty colours and all that jazz.
Angelique and Saiunkoku Monogatari have spunky, fun loving girls that get thrust into the political spectrum of life. Angelic take on a more fanciful approach but both series have the same concept.
They both somewhat have a lot of peoples fatihs on their shoulders, keep their heads up and continue going through it all while dealing with love .
Throughout the ages, fairy doctors served as liaisons between humans and fairies; but in the present time of the 19th century, fairies are nothing more than an old wives' tale. Nineteen-year-old Lydia Carlton is one of the only remaining fairy doctors and enjoys a quiet life in the countryside of England - that is, until the dashing Edgar, for mysterious reasons, whisks her away on a daring adventure. Said to be the descendent of the earl of the fairy nation, Edgar desires the noble sword of the merrow that serves as proof to his lineage. Though his motives and origins are questionable, Lydia now sets forth to help Edgar on his quest.
If you like sparkly anime with charming bishounen and bright, pretty kind of animation, then try Earl and Fairy next. It's got a completely different story to Angelique, but it's got a magical worlds and magical beings, and a main female character who's plucky and cheerful. There's more romance in Earl and Fairy, but essentially, they have the same sort feel.
I would not mind being surround by a bunch of handsome men as the two heroines are in Earl and Fairy and Angelique. Each series is sent in a magical world with mystery and fantasy.
The god Mauser delivered unto a world of magic a prophecy: if the Scrapped Princess is allowed to live, she will destroy the entire world. But the knight who was to kill her could not end the life of a newborn child, and so she lived. Fifteen years later, her adopted brother and sister have sworn to protect her, and together they travel from town to town, searching for a life she can't have.
There are many tragic elements in Angelique that really make me think of Scrapped Princess. They don't have the same kind of story but they do share a similar tone. Both are strongly shoujo with cheerful central protagonists who has a rather bittersweet destiny. I'd really check out Scrapped Princess if you liked Angelique - When the Heart Awakens.
