They both have simple yet witty entertainment, along with characters the have suffered a harshed pass making them into what they are today. As they struggle together to help each other out with the problems that face them. Both have very similar excellent endings. Story wise they are almost one in the same, of course completely different worlds set them apart.

We all like some totally useless humour from time to time!

Well, you've got it, in angel beats and nurse witch komugi. Lots of yelling, random putting together of anything, and characters that make no sense, and do silly things!

But thats what we love about them right? Two very cute anime's, with sime funny stories, that are fun, random, but not too hard to follow!

Nyan Koi!

Nyan Koi!

Everyone around Kousaka seems to adore cats, but due to his allergies the teen can’t stand them. So when he wakes up one day and can hear what every feline is saying, Kousaka is annoyed to say the least. His new “gift,” it seems, is the result of accidentally breaking an enshrined statue of a cat; and what’s worse, Kousaka must atone for his sin and appease the vengeful spirit by aiding one hundred kitties-in-distress, or become a furry feline himself! Now, amidst helping various cats with mundane and trivial issues, Kousaka must try to dispel the jinx and attempt to salvage his self-respect – not to mention his love life - along the way.

Both Junpei in Nyan Koi! and Yuzuru in Angel Beats! are pulled into a situtation that they don't enjoy or fully understand and forced to go along for the ride. For both of them, failure means losing the life that they have now, but somehow humor finds a way into the shows. Kind of surprising, really.

Both shows have a video game version. While Angel Beats! started as a game, the Phantom anime is an adaptation of the Phantom game. Also both shows have action and moé girls. If you like one you should watch the other.

Popotan

Popotan

Imagine a mansion with a Christmas goods shop that appears out of nowhere, housing three beautiful sisters and a robot maid, all with very different personalities and figures. These sisters are looking for information that they can only acquire from "popotan," their term for dandelion flowers. After acquiring a hint of this information, the mansion and the girls vanish. Their travels take them through many places, and they meet a varied cast of characters during their quest, but what exactly is this information they're searching for so desperately?

Apparently both of them seem to be somekind of light comedy series, but as the story progresses the dramatic aspects become more stronger. Both of them have emotional endings. The only difference is that Popotan is a bit more ecchi and looks like it has a silly plot during the first episodes (big emphasis on the 'looks' there).
