Synopsis:

Ikko is a Buddhist monk in training who works at his grandmother’s temple with six nuns -- six very attractive nuns. Though lazy, weak and unmotivated to learn the skills of a monk, amazingly strong holy powers sleep inside of Ikko that are triggered only by the awakening of his, shall we say, lust for worldly delights. A vengeful spirit is haunting your home? A flash of pantsu, and Ikko's your man. But therein lies danger; what really is the secret behind his mysterious powers? And how many hits to the head from angry, semi-naked nuns can a man take?

Both Love Hina and Amaenaideyo are about an underachieving boy who lives in his grandmother's house, and is surrounded by girls who do their best to beat his hormonal behavior out of him. In Amaenaideyo!!, however, he has to fight off evil spirits, but his full power only comes out if they can activate those darn hormones fully.

ZenithAstrali

Sexuality, a guy who gets to live in a house full of women while trying to get alone with them, and comedy; if you liked all of these things in either Love Hina or Amaenaideyo, you will find and enjoy them in the other.

freakzilla

Love Hina and Amaenaide yo have some rather obvious things in common. Besides their genre, which is a very funny romantic harem comedy; the way they deal with this genre is also very similar. There are a few attempts at throwing us off guard, but on the other side the story feels like it's pushing towards a certain matchup. Aside from that the other main ressemblance is the fact that both anime tend to be quite violent with the male lead, which gives us even more laughs :)

icejamez

I'f you liked one you should give the other one ago. See they are very much alike. They are both Harem comedies and the main female lead in both is always smacking the main male lead around for being accidentaly pervy and this eventually causes a relationship to blossom between the two. Sure the stories in that sense seem like replicase but they are still different from each other and fresh enough that you can enjoy both. So i'f your looking for a good ecchi watch there you have it and with that adieu.

KiraRin

Sometimes a simple harem story just isn't enough. And there are series out there that do go that extra step. Amaenaideyo is certainly one of them!

Both shows centre on some poor, unfortunate guy who ends up living with a host of lovely girls, all with very different personalities. Amaenaideyo and Love Hina seem to work from exactly the same character requirement sheet, but one involves more bra and panty shots.

There is the love interest who beats the crap out of the poor guy, the athletic one, the innocent one, the "loose" one and a mother hen to oversee the chaos. Don't expect a deep story line, as neither show really has one. Just sit back and enjoy the (perverted) ride ;)

rdaniels

Amaenaidey and Love Hina are alike in many ways.  They are both harem comedies about a loser male who ends up living together with a group of beautiful girls.  Both shows have a violent lead female who routinely beats up on the lead male, and both have a large amount of ecchi comedy.

wolfangel87

Girls, girls, girls!!!  In both Love Hina and Amaenaideyo the protagonist of the series is surrounded by girls.  Both series are jam packed with comedic episodes and awkward moments not even mentioning the abundant amounts of sexual tensions racing as hormones are flying.

angelsreviews

Both have a lot of girls living with one man. There is always a misunderstanding going on of the perverted nature.

Green Green

Green Green

Deep in the mountains, isolated from civilization, there is a boys-only school that will finally be receiving its first class of girls in an attempt to transform the school into a co-ed one. Most of the boys have never been in contact with girls of their own age, leading to an explosion of hormonal craziness. From the sickeningly perverted fetishist guys, to a rather odd girl that seems to be chasing the most normal guy in the school for reasons known only to her, there's twisted humor to be had.

If you enjoyed Amaenaideyo!! you will also enjoy Green Green. Green Green and Amaenaideyo!! are two anime that share a lot in common. They both have lots of ecchi and a character is explored in each episode of both Green Green and Amaenaideyo. If you want lots of ecchi based humour and enjoyed Amaenaideyo!!, Green Green is for you.

Guitarpro

"Amaenaideyo!!" and "Green Green" are both full of ecchi humor; so if you like ecchi you must watch them both.

kamkaw

Those Anime are very similiar because of main character situation, I mean that girls think about him in the same way and he prove them that they are wrong in many ways...

freakzilla

Green Green and Amaenaide yo focus a lot of ecchi and the violent punishment the male leads get as retribution for their actions. Of course this means that both are very funny series with a bit of romance, a bit of comedy, and a lot of ecchi mixed in. Both even have an underlying story to keep our attention, so it's safe to say these two anime appeal the same anime fans.

YannickR

Both anime are about a male character surrounded by a handful of girls.Another similar fact is that both males are viewed upon as perverts by the girls at first, but that changes trough the course of the story. And ofcourse theres plenty of ecchiness in both ;)

wolfangel87

If you like seeing guys get into impossibly comedic situations Green Green and Amaenaideyo!! Are the shows to watch as the male leads face an onslaught of girls who just seem to take their character the wrong way making for one hilarious adventure.

angelsreviews

Both have way to perverted characters and many women falling for the main guy character. There is also slightly nudity.

Asu no Yoichi!

Asu no Yoichi!

Yoichi Karasuma is a strong young samurai who was born and raised in the mountains. One day his father decides to send him to the city to stay with the four Ikuraga sisters so that he can gain valuable life experience, but his first trip into civilization doesn’t go quite as planned. Not only is he late to meet his new hostesses, but he is labelled a pervert and manages to get himself arrested – twice! Now, as he lives at the Ikuraga Dojo with Ibuki, Ayame, Kagome and Chihaya, Yoichi must adapt to his new life at school while accepting the rather violent ‘training’ he receives from Ibuki. After making an enemy of the school delinquent and with a mysterious man after his life, it seems that Yoichi’s quest to gain life experience won’t be so smooth after all!

Aside from the fact that both of these series have a certain amount of ecchi content they also have a male protagonist that is living away from home, with a group of strong female characters. Though they both focus on different scenarios they give off the same sort of vibe, which makes me think that if you enjoyed one of these you may like the other.

Aburi

Overpowered hero suddenly moves in with a flock of beautiful high school girls... This storyline has been done many times, and these two shows are more reincarnations.

The things that define them. In Amenaideyo the hero has no control of his ability. it's also almost pure ecchi content.

In Asu no Youichi there is very little ecchi content and lots more martial arts.

If you appreciate Harem style comedies, give these two a try.

blackstormattack

It's a harem anime, protagonist is a boy and he is misunderstood the whole time. In Asu no Yoichi the main characters are samurai and in Amaenaideyo the main characters are monks / nuns. They both use a traditional japanese setting in the modern times. Although Asu no Yoichi does that a little more then Amaenaideyo.

akumahai

Amaenaideyo and Asu no Yoichi were remarkebly similar harem comedies, with the main character coming to live with several girls, echi misunderstandings/resulting beatings, and new enemies for its figting theme in every episode.

Can you say awkward romance? That's exactly how you could describe both Amaenaideyo and AYA. Not only do both of these series consist of that popular comedy/romance genre, but they are also ecchi. You'll love either one if you like those genres. If you want more ecchi, watch Amaenaideyo!! If you want more romance, watch Ai Yori Aoshi; that's the only real difference.

karcik

Both are about one guy surrounded by a bunch of beautiful girls, but in Amaenaideyo there's definitely more fanservice.

angelsreviews

Although Ai Yori has more sufistication to it, they do have similar structures in that they are both harems and they both have the main boy living with a bunch of girls.

Magikano

Magikano

Haruo is a short geeky schoolboy with a whiny voice and glasses, and the only one in his family without magic powers. Therefore it should come as no surprise that his life is a constant struggle to prevent being ravished by any nearby female. When a witch under a curse named Mamiya enters the fray, Haruo's precious maidenhood that he holds onto so dearly is placed in grave danger. With the added risqué brought on by the arrival of this new number one contender, Haruo's struggle becomes even more desperate, and his hidden powers begin to awaken.

Magikano and Amaenaideyo are not similar just because they have a harem theme; their stories are centered around the powers of a boy - powers that the people around them try either to awaken (using sexuality) or control. They are both funny, sexy, magical and fun to watch.

cassiesheepgirl

Both of these series focus on a boy with incredible magical power that has yet to be realised, and the girls trying to awaken it. While Amaenaideyo is way more ecchi, both have a similar style of comedy.

wolfangel87

Magikano and Amaenaideyo have very similar connection between them with the male lead having unleashed powers within him.  There is of course an element of sexuality as the boys need to awaken their powers in some very interesting ways.
