Synopsis:

Ryunosuke and his father are running away from his crazy mother when, feeling the urge to answer nature's call, Ryunosuke finds a cute little alley cat and decides to keep it. Almost immediately after, they are caught in a fire fight with his mother's lackeys. Tragically the poor cat dies and Ryunouske is heartbroken, but luckily his inventor father just happened to bring along a deactivated robot. By placing the cat's brain in the robot, Nuku Nuku is born! Now all they have to do is teach Nuku Nuku how to behave like a normal girl instead of a super-strong, cat-brained robot, while trying to avoid a mother's wrath!

Another catgirlish series - different in style and story from APCC Nuku Nuku, but if you are generally interested in Catgirls series, this is one for you.
kamirura
Catgirls.. that I all can say... hehe Well toky Mew Mew doens't really have the same story as Nuku Nuku but it got the same kind of humor. Though Nuku Nuku sometimes feels abit more realistic than Mew Mew.. dunno if it's just me that thinks tokyo Mew Mew is abit silly.

Mmmmm.... Love those catgirls! ^_^ Also, very similar in terms of battles, humor, etc.

NekoRocket
A much more serious anime, Armitage has it's moments of humor. Basically, another robot-human pairing but with a lot more focus on action.

DraconPern
A fun and short little anime that will give you some laughs. The cute main character can dish out some destruction just like Nuku Nuku. :)

Hand Maid May and Cat Girl Nuku Nuku both have androids that radically change the lives of their friends. So its a natural choice. Go with Hand Maid May if you perfer a more down to earth anime, and Nuku Nuku if you like more action. Both have equal merit.

Key the Metal Idol is a very serious anime, as opposed to Nuku Nuku. However, both contain androids, and I think that both eventually come to the same message. Can an andrioid be treated and respected the same as a human? Can they have the same rights? Well, ok, not so much with Nuku Nuku, but Nuku and Key do share a certain naivety.
