Shinichiro Nakagami is an everyday high school student, with the exception of having his beautiful and athletic childhood friend Hiromi Yuasa living in his household after the death of her parents. Unfortunately, their relationship is cold at best - Shinichiro can tell that she is suffering, but she acts coldly and distant from her foster family and so he is unable to help ease her sadness. His family is also forcing him to practice a traditional Japanese dance that does not interest him, adding to his frustration. On top of that, he is cursed to misfortune by another girl in school, the eccentric Noe Isurugi. Shinichiro juggles all of these problems on a day-to-day basis as he learns about love and the sadness of those around him.
A little tentative, but both airing in the same year, they are short school romance series which boils down to a love triangle with sister/brother/enigmatic girl
Whilst True Tears is far deeper and has drama elements, the infectious personality of Noe feels similar to the light-heartedness of Akaneiro.
I would recommend this anime for the simple fact that both anime fit perfectly in the harem genre. Though some attributes of both of the shows may seem more of a cliche both of them have surprising turn of events. The protagonist are very similar in look and artistry style.
If you are looking for a good, short school type of romance True Tears and Akane-Iro ni Somaru Saka are pretty fine picks. The surprising events taking place in each of these series adds an extra element into the mix while the love triangles are similar in nature taking on a semi brother to sister to another girl type of drama.
Hatsune-Jima, a city once known for their everlasting Cherry Blossom Tree, is devastated after the tree’s destruction. In this city lives Junichi, a local Hatsune-Jime student who is struggling through school after Nemu left him to attend university. Things change for Junichi on one stormy night when a mysterious girl named Aisia arrives at his doorstep, looking for a master magician who can teach her the trade. As Aisia uncovers more about the past of Hatsune-Jima, will the past tragedy repeat itself once more?
both Da Capo S.S. and Akane-Iro ni Somaru Saka feature an incest theme, love relationship between siblings, even though the siblings are not blood related in both shows. Both of them are romantic comedies, which feature some ecchi aspects and harem themes. While Da Capo S.S. changes from a funny comedy to a sorrowful drama, Akane-Iro ni Somaru Saka maintains its humour until the end. Still if you liked one of this show then check the other one as well.
Incest ending, kinda
Thats about all...to be honest if Akane didn't have the incest I would like it way better...: (
No sex, just partial and some nudity in both kinda
And really bad ending if you finish Da Capo Second Season....
Shungo is an extraordinary high school student; in addition to his studies, he’s been trained by his mercenary sister to be a top mercenary. Their newest task involves the Tsukimura siblings; both of them have the powers of a succubus, but Mayu has a slight problem: she suffers from androphobia – a fear of men! Shungo’s new objective is to help Mayu overcome this phobia and protect her from the men her succubus powers naturally draw to her; but this becomes more difficult once he becomes the guinea pig for social experiments involving Mayu, such as sharing the same bed and even bathing together! To make matters worse, the ever-growing popularity of Mayu at school and the student council president’s infatuation with Shungo only add to his workload!
I think these animes are similar, in both there is a nice guy who's haveing peaceful life. Suddenly there appears a troublesome girl. Boy is saveing her from any dangers.
There's lot of fun.
Both of these are supremely generic ecchi harem series, with the common theme of living under one roof with a girl that appears out of nowhere for some convoluted reason.
Shougo Mikadono’s deceased father left his son with a final request: attend his old high school to search for a suitable spouse, get married, and take his place as the rightful president of the prestigious Mikadono Corporation. Eagerly accepting the criteria, the teenager enrolls and quickly garners the attention of class rep beauty Konoe and one wealthy maiden after another due to his illustrious family legacy. What's more, Shougo then receives a very unexpected phone call from an unknown fellow student claiming to be his long lost sister - and she, too, wants to marry him! Can Shougo restrain his youthful desires while lustful beauties throw themselves at him in school, at home and even in his own bed long enough to determine who among them is his hidden little sister?
Great animes to watch if your into harems with a lot of plot twist. What makes these two animes special is that choices the protagonist amongst a group of high school girls. Yet only one may become his future wife! Ether its the small Tsundere type, otaku, voluptuous, even the forbidden sibling.
There are certain strong thematic commonalities between these two. They are both quasi-harems in which most of the girls really don't matter and just exist for cover art. They also both have strong sibling angles, though most will find the content of Nakaimo less objectionable. Overall, it is the better show with a much more likeable protaganist, but if you like either, the other is sure to suit your tastes as well.
There’s never a dull day in lives of the Hekiyou Academy student council! President Kurimu has a sweet tooth and neglects her duties with ease, while secretary Chizuru skillfully manipulates those around her. Otaku Mafuyu obsesses over writing online walkthroughs, and is constantly hounded by Ken, the only male of their crew and an eroge addict who has the ultimate goal to turn the entire council into his harem. Luckily for Mafuyu she’s protected from his advances by Minatsu, her sporty and tomboyish sister! Together, the five repeatedly struggle in their fight against boredom, making constant otaku references and fighting against the journalism club along the way!
both Akane-Iro ni Somaru Saka and Seitokai no Ichizon have many things in common, both are settled in a school life aspect, both feature a similar animation style (pointing especialy at character designs) and the same genre aspects both of them concentrating on comedy (better developed in Seitokai no Ichizon). If you like one of them then be sure to check the other one as well.
Both anime develop in the school and they have a similar character design. If you like commedy and harem anime you must watch them
