in both series there's lot of ecchi and the personalities of the main girl character is similar in both series, they are innocent and they love the boy so much and are always causing perverted thoughts to the boys without even knowing. and the boys are also the same, kind-hearted boys that are very shy when they see a woman's body. You'll probably like one if you liked the other.

When you have finished Ai yori Aoshi you certainly will need something more less romantic one to get you back on the ground from the cloud nine.
Seto no Hanayome is a tale of mermaid and human whose fate is totally twisted by very weird and laughable scenes where the terminator won't stop moving until its target is eliminated! Hopefully you will enjoy this one as much as I did.
After a spaceship collision, a boy named Tenchi stumbles upon a catfight of galactic proportions. He helps the girls recover, earning himself a few new housemates. Several years later, he goes to Tokyo for college, but there are dark forces who want to pull the eclectic group of friends apart...
Both series place a Teenage College-going boy in a stressful situation with several female characters who are in love with him. They also show a similar sense of humor. This is a great anime, and if you liked Tenchi in Tokyo, I gaurentee you'll like Ai Yori Aoshi.
