Fuguno Masuo is a person who doesn't have much luck with the ladies -- mildly put. All through high school and college, he has failed to have a girlfriend, and when he is foretold by a fortune teller that he'll never, ever get one, he is utterly crushed. Hibiki is unemployed, unmotivated, and out of luck. But it seems his luck just might change: a nearby school is looking for qualified instructors, but there's a catch.. females only! With rent looming around the corner and the landlord threatening to cook the dog if you don't pay up, what's a guy to do? Become a woman, of course. Watch Hibiki as he blunders his way through embarassing situations, under the close scrutiny of the headmaster's gaze and his female students' admiration.
Both are light-hearted romantic comedies and have a similar feel to the both of them. The music is upbeat and classic corny j-pop stuff, and the cast of characters are amusing to watch in both. Definitely something to enjoy if you like one or the other.
The timid, virginal Kouta is a new student at Kunpo High School; and while others in his situation might be a wallflower forever, Kouta has no such luck – he has attracted the attention of the busty Chizuru, who happens to be a fox deity! However, Kouta’s misfortunes don’t stop there; he’s also pursued by Nozomu, a wolf deity. Between being molested, propositioned, having his face shoved between mammoth breasts or witnessing endless panty shots, Kouta must also attempt to maintain his studies – even though all Chizuru and Nozomu want is to be the one to deflower him first!
This recommendation should be taken with a pinch of salt, but I feel the same kind of viewers will enjoy both AMG and Kanokon.
The darker side of AMG, especially Peorth throwing herself at Keichi, were really good but played down as a family friendly show. Kanokon, however, has nothing suitable for younger viewers....
Both shows feature a strong female character who knows what she wants in life, and will not let anything stand in her way. In each case, this is a poor naive male who is not sure what to make of her advances!
So if you live in the hope of a fantasy woman (either an angel or a kitsune) wearing very little coming to seduce you, I think you would enjoy both of these shows.
Did you think the chaos at the Hinata Inn is over? No way! Love Hina Again introduces a new girl--Kanako--who has a big crush on Keitaro and magical powers on her side! Will Naru finally confess her feelings to Keitaro, or will he literally be 'charmed' away?
AMG and Love Hina Again are both famous romantic comedies, but these two OVAs relate very well to each other. Both have some magical moments and evil curses aside from the everyday themes such as shyness and jealousy. The chance that you'll like both of these is pretty high!
