Happy World and Ah! My Goddess have more in common than just angels. Both have a very romantic comedy type feel to them, involving a young man who has a woman forced upon him. Of course, love inevitably follows, and the rest is history! I do think you'd enjoy one if you enjoyed the other.

both have a similar master-slave relation between the main characters, but this changes while the plot continues and the characters develop their feelings for eachother
Ren and Belldandy both have special powers while Keiichi and Takeya are both ordinary teenagers
They also have many similar funny and embarrasing moments
same ecchi style of comedy. female lead characaters that are weak willed and have a male to "show them the ropes" if you will. oh and of course all this is an accident. strange person in a new world complex is there too. they also have a real feel of "emotional insecurity" but also "male dominate" almost in a spiteful way. if that's you then add these to your want to watch list or favorites.

Both Fruits Basket and Ah! My Goddess show us that happiness is in the experiences you have together, not the goals at the end of the story. On the surface they seem like completely opposite series in every way, but under the superficial details the stories share common points. Both main characters find joy in ways they would have never imagined and grow into people they would have previously only dreamed of.
Both of these anime are about chaste love. Both involve a lot of supernatural themes, humorous situational comedy that stems from two different characters suddenly living together, and a cast full of well-thought-out characters. Both Belldandy and Tohru are quiet, loving characters that are well-meaning in everything they do. With a little drama thrown in for good measure, these two animes are both great watches.
