Happy World and Ah! My Goddess have more in common than just angels. Both have a very romantic comedy type feel to them, involving a young man who has a woman forced upon him. Of course, love inevitably follows, and the rest is history! I do think you'd enjoy one if you enjoyed the other.

These two anime are very similar in character and story, almost as if they are twice the same anime but made by different people. The situations within are extremely similar leading to a comparable romance, situations, and character. It's impossible to like one and not the other. The difference is that where Happy World stops is where Ah My Goddess continues. Watch both and you'll feel like watching the same show twice.

In both series some godess/angel (read: devine being) appears out of nothing and tries to make the male figure happy in some way. Both these devine being do not know how the human world flows and wat to get used to the way humans live. Both series are perfectly similar to eachother, so if you like one, you will quite probably like the other as well.

Unfortunately, Ruuan and Shaorin are old rivals and they cause no end of trouble while vying for Tasuke's attention.

A Moon Goddess comming down to protect and help her master... does that sound familiar. Mamotte Shugogetten and Ah! My Goddess got alot in common. Just like Belldandy have her magic the girl named Shou-san in this series have too. She uses it to fullfill her masters wishes. This is a really cute romance that you really should check out if you liked Ah! My Goddess.

Both series have a similar feel. Ah!, My Goddess has a more religious heaven/angel theme and Mamotte Shugogetten is distintly historic Chinese.

Another one that is cute and builds well. Plus, once again, the vocal talents of Inoue Kikuko are involved.

Heartfelt characters and amazing human technology story design similar to the feel of Ah My Goddess characters.

Colan

both have a similar master-slave relation between the main characters, but this changes while the plot continues and the characters develop their feelings for eachother

Ren and Belldandy both have special powers while Keiichi and Takeya are both ordinary teenagers

They also have many similar funny and embarrasing moments

GodzillaGus

same ecchi style of comedy. female lead characaters that are weak willed and have a male to "show them the ropes" if you will. oh and of course all this is an accident. strange person in a new world complex is there too. they also have a real feel of "emotional insecurity" but also "male dominate" almost in a spiteful way. if that's you then add these to your want to watch list or favorites.

Fruits Basket

Both Fruits Basket and Ah! My Goddess show us that happiness is in the experiences you have together, not the goals at the end of the story. On the surface they seem like completely opposite series in every way, but under the superficial details the stories share common points. Both main characters find joy in ways they would have never imagined and grow into people they would have previously only dreamed of.

Both of these anime are about chaste love. Both involve a lot of supernatural themes, humorous situational comedy that stems from two different characters suddenly living together, and a cast full of well-thought-out characters. Both Belldandy and Tohru are quiet, loving characters that are well-meaning in everything they do. With a little drama thrown in for good measure, these two animes are both great watches.
