But his life changes forever when he meets Lime, a spunky marionette with the mind of a child and--amazingly enough--the emotions of one as well! Soon, the demure Cherry and the outgoing Bloodberry join him as well, but he'll need all their help if he is to stop the evil Faust, ruler of Gartland, from taking over their beloved kingdom of Japoness!

Both end up being love stories. And in both, there are trials and tribulations between the two main characters. However, Bell is quite a bit feistier than Aoi.

AMG Movie and Saikano don't have a lot in common with each other. They both have a romantic side; other then that, absolutely nothing in common. So why did I make this recommendation? The romantic sides are so strong that both will easily draw tears. Even the more resistant people will have to put up a fight to keep composed!

D.N.Angel

D.N.Angel

For Niwa Daisuke, turning 14 should be accompanied by romance and the promise of new adventures into adulthood, but instead comes with a surprising revelation: all male children of the Niwa's bloodline inherit the powers (alter ego) of Dark, a phantom thief, upon their 14th birthday! Now, in addition to his ever-present quest to win the heart of his childhood friend Risa, Daisuke must commit acts of thievery (with his doppelganger Dark controlling his body), to steal mysterious pieces of art for unknown purposes. For Daisuke, his growing pains are just beginning!

Both AMG Movie and DNAngel have a nice romantic and original story. Due to the length difference, of course DNAngel has more going on, which offers nice variety.

Aishiteruze Baby

Whenever Kippei is at school, he has one thing on his mind: girls. From skipping class to cheesy lines, he'll do anything it takes to reel the ladies in, though he never seems to find the right person. But the bachelor lifestyle is soon to change when young Yuzuyu enters the picture. This five-year-old cutie has been abandoned by her mother, and is to be taken care of by none other than Kippei! Unfortunately for the both of them, Kippei has no experience raising a child, so the learning curve will be quite steep...

Both AMG Movie and Ai Baby have a rather serious story. As the characters are driven to despair to make something of their romance and their lives, it won't be rare for a tear to get away from you.
