Both AMG Movie and Ai Baby have a rather serious story. As the characters are driven to despair to make something of their romance and their lives, it won't be rare for a tear to get away from you.

Because Ah! My Goddess - The Movie is a little more serious and epic than the TV series/OVA, it's mood very well matches the mood of the Bleach - Memories of Nobody movie. Both are a little serious, a little cheerful stories of people finding their courage and their motivation to go against forces that threaten the safety of their worlds.

Both the Ah! My Goddess movie and Fade to Black pit the main chracters in similar situations. In both, someone from the female lead's past returns and wipes her memory of everything from the series. Both movies definitely have a more emotional and serious feel to them than the series.

Both AMG Movie and DNAngel have a nice romantic and original story. Due to the length difference, of course DNAngel has more going on, which offers nice variety.
