Green Green

Green Green

Deep in the mountains, isolated from civilization, there is a boys-only school that will finally be receiving its first class of girls in an attempt to transform the school into a co-ed one. Most of the boys have never been in contact with girls of their own age, leading to an explosion of hormonal craziness. From the sickeningly perverted fetishist guys, to a rather odd girl that seems to be chasing the most normal guy in the school for reasons known only to her, there's twisted humor to be had.

Though School Days are perhaps more harsh, but those two series have a very important for some people thing in common - boys that just can't stop at watching a girl, that they must get rid of the hormon's prresure one way or another... So if you're in to those kind of things... You know what to do.

akatsukiJuS

both animes are different, but have similar stories. Tragic love.. more than one girl is inlove of the boy. Green green is more like a comedy... total ecchi... school days is more drama, but the end isn't happy in either of the animes.

There isn't much similar about Romeo x Juliet and School Days, but both are enjoyable watches, and centre largely around teen romance, with some themes relating to love triangles (though this is more prominent in School Days). Characters go through pain and suffering, often in the name of love, and try hard to stay in one piece (mentally and physically) because of and for love. If you enjoyed School Days, and maybe are even looking for a less harsh, more fantasy-based look at painful romance, then check out Romeo x Juliet.

Shakugan no Shana

Shakugan no Shana

Sakai Yuuji thought he was a normal high school student, until one fateful day when time stopped. Watching in horror, he witnesses a monster devouring the "frozen" people around him; but luckily for Yuuji, he is saved by a sword-wielding red-headed girl that calls herself a "Flame Haze". The girl informs him that he has been dead for some time now and that his current self is merely a replacement for the human that he used be while alive. He is, she says, merely a torch whose life will come to an end when the blue flame in his chest ceases to burn. After this rude awakening, Yuuji realizes that he is able to see the flames of life in other "torches"; and after discovering that a friend of his is also a torch -- and her life is burning out faster than his – he gains the courage to live out the rest of his life with meaning. Will Yuuji be able to find his place in the world before he ceases to exist?

It's mostly a gut feeling, but watching lots of Shana's "triangle" scenes remind me of School Days. They're not alike, though. The characters take many different choices, and because of that it's worth watching both.

automatic

Although the storylines may not be similar there is a love triangle relationship, the main characters have to make important life changing choices and both of these series have a clear slice of life feel.

School Days and Sola starts as light school-romance comedy and slownly turn into deep psychological and tragic story. In both series there are same shocking plot twist and unexpected ending. The only diffrence is that Sola have more action, magic and story isn't as tragic as school days.

wolfangel87

School Days and Sola start off innocent with a school romance quickly turning into a much more dramatic form of events and psychological tests for the main characters. Sola is more action packed and fantasy driven where School Days stays on a horrifyingly almost real path.

The Flowers of Evil

The Flowers of Evil

Takao Kasuga is a lonely boy who spends his days immersed in books to escape his frustration with life. His only source of joy is the beautiful Saeki, who he secretly admires from afar. However, Takao's obsession goes too far one day when, in a moment of emotional folly, he steals the girl's gym clothes and takes them home with him. Worse, his terrible deed is spotted by Sawa Nakamura, a mysterious outcast who sits behind him in class who threatens to reveal the boy's secret unless he promises to engage in a contract with her. At first it seems Sawa just wants some companionship, but soon it becomes clear that this "contract" involves more than mere afternoon chats. In fact, Takao is about to discover just how dangerous his bond with Sawa is and how it threatens to tear everything - his life, his love, and even his sanity - apart.

School days and Aku no Hana deal with school life in a dark heart way.

If you can get past the oddly different art style of Aku no Hana, you might find it quite the case study in psychological damage and overall uneasiness to your liking.

Also, if you're enjoying Aku no Hana, you will probably enjoy School Days.

gleipnir

Aku no Hana is what School Days could have been if the latter had been executed with any sort of competence or intelligence.  If you want a decent story about emotionally screwed up high schoolers and you weren't watching School Days for the gross harem fanservice, Aku no Hana is definitely worth a shot.
