It is said that deep in the mountains of Ohu, in a place called Futago Pass, there exists a paradise for dogs. Fourteen years ago, the legendary Gin led many warriors against the evil bear Akakabuto and won; now, in the present, Gin's secret son, Weed, has just learned the news of his father's identity. Alongside companions such as the English Setter GB, young and lovable Mel and his late mother's friend, Uncle Smith, Weed sets forth to find his father; and along the way, he meets new friends and defeats powerful enemies alike!
