Teito Klein is a former slave who attends the Barsburg Empire's military academy. Having no memory of his past and the power to wield a rare ability called Zaiphon, Teito is constantly under the scrutiny of his peers - except for his best friend Mikage, the only person he connects with. After seeing and remembering the man who killed his father, Teito tries to kill him and finds himself on the run from Barsburg's military might. Now, with the evil beings known as Kor after his soul, the Barsburg Empire after his blood and only the legendary Seven Ghosts to protect him, Teito must unlock the memories of his past before he ends up as a sacrifice for Verloren, the sealed God of Death.

Tsubasa and 07 ghost are a very similar in which both main characters are traveling to regain memories for someone or themselves along with a or more comrades and the journey progresses to become SUPER addicting. Tsubasa is great anime on of my personal favorites of all time.
If you like Tsubasa Chronicle then you will surely enjoy 07-Ghost and vice versa because both anime have a similar story line. They both have funny scenes in them, along with scenes that will make your heart feel all warm and fuzzy inside. They both have lots of action. And the main character loses all his/her memory then set out on adventure to get it back. Along the way they meet others who will help them out on their journey.
Abandoned outside an orphanage when he was just a baby, Yuki is a boy with no idea where he came from or who he really is. Now in high school, the teen is plagued by odd dreams, death threats and an ability to see the negativity that dwells within people's hearts. One night after being lured into a trap, a mysterious and handsome man named Zess saves Yuki from being killed before disappearing into the night. Then, with the sudden arrival of his long-lost brother, the orphan finds himself pulled into a new world where he can not only learn about his powers and how to control them, but also becomes aware of the evils that lurk in the darkness. Can Yuki finally find the place he truly belongs, and just why is Zess so protective over the young boy?
In both anime the main character has some powers and has to be protected since he is very important in the fight against the bad guys. The protectors are mainly good-looking guys who are keeping some secrets from the protagonist, however some of them get revealed gradually. There is also the theme of reincarnation which is shared by both anime.
Both 07-ghost and Uraboku have tormented main characters with a past that is difficult to grasp, they are extremely compassionate and would do anything for the people they love. Both involve supernatural powers and hints of shounen-ai, animal companions and fighting for ones beliefs. Additionally, both main characters have destinies that they have to discover and come to terms with.
In a post-apocalyptic world overrun with great beasts called Filth Monsters, a glimmering dome protrudes from the wasteland. This is Zuellni, a mobile city unique for having a consciousness in the form of ‘electronic fairies’. Moreover, Zuellni is an academy where the next generation of powerful Heavens-Blade wielders gather to pit their strength against each other in inter-platoon competitions. Nina Antalk, military student and leader of the 17th Platoon, is intent on recruiting only the best; thus, when mysterious Layfon Alseif transfers to the academy, she instantly recognizes his abilities and decides he’s the perfect candidate to join her group. However, with a secret past that won’t leave him alone, and unknown powers beyond the academy taking an interest in Zuellni, Layfon joining the team is only the start of all their troubles.
if you like the ideas that the main character has unknown capabilites or has great powers . 07-Ghost is just like this anime. It's kinda like chrome shelled regios just this guy doesn't know he had these powers.
Area 11 is still under Britannian rule and the Elevens remain brutally oppressed; what’s more, their saviour, Zero, is nowhere to be found and all of Britannia believes the rebellion is finally over. Elsewhere, having lost the battle, Lelouch sets his sights upon winning the war – but the task is no easier since the Britannian forces have learned some valuable lessons all of their own. Not only have they discovered his identity and captured many of his Black Knights, but they now manipulate the memories of all of his friends. Worst of all, they have taken the most precious thing in his life – his dear sister, Nunnally. With his hatred for the Britannians stronger than ever before, Lelouch must now recuperate his forces and bring their rule of terror to an end.
Both rebellious, military-steeped series, set on a journey into supernatural themes and leadership/power struggles between high authorities. Both have a very strong focus upon identity, secrets and deeply personal mysteries of the past, and subsequent self-discovery.
Middle school student Ganta Igarashi witnessed the slaughter of his entire class by the mysterious 'Red Man', and as the only survivor, he was labeled a mass murderer and sentenced to death. Now an inmate at the privately-owned prison and ‘amusement park' known as Deadman Wonderland, Ganta must try to survive in a place where inmates are the main attraction in brutal gladiator-style games. At the same time, he must attempt to uncover the truth behind the ‘Red Man', his mysterious childhood friend Shiro, and why he was the only survivor that bloody day.
Perhaps a bizare recommendation, but Teito (07-Ghost) is a former slave who is also betrayed and eventually seeks his vengenace against those he trusted. Whereas in DW, Ganta was framed by the Red Man for murder and seeks to avenge his classmates' deaths. In both shows there are elements of supernatural powers. The main similarity between the two is that both characters can't remember their pasts. Ganta can't remember what happened to him ten years ago, and Teito can't remember what happened to him before he came to the military. DW has more blood and gore, but Ghost is not lacking in action, and with many twists and turns, it will keep you throughly entertained.
